I loved it! I've using it for 2 weeks and each time I can taste a delicious rice! It reminds me when my grandma cooked me. If you follow the instructions you won't have any problems.

I bought this just over a month ago to assist me in my desire to meal prep and eat right.

I haven't figured out the perfect way to cook rice and steam veggies at the same time. Separately on their own, for the most part, the rice comes out great and steaming veggies is simple.

My problem is about a week ago the rice burned once and now has started sticking on the bottom every time. I have to scrape off overcooked rice every time now. That's a real bummer - especially because I REALLY loved this before this started happening.

Mostly Great

The rice cooker was easy to use.  A plastic measuring cup was included for measuring the rice and water levels are marked on the inside of the rice cooker.  I made 3 cups and the rice turned out perfectly.  The second time I made 1 1/2 cups and it came out a little brown on the bottom.  The bowl is removeable for easy serving and cleaning.  The steam tray is separate and also easy to use.  The manual has a table that tells you the cook time for individual vegetables, and it worked well by itself.  According to the manual you can cook rice and steam vegetables at the same time, but I haven't tried that yet.  Overall a good product!

Easy to use

The Oster Dura-Ti Infused Rice Cooker is just the right size and very efficient at making moist and delicious rice as well as steaming vegetables. I made both including the best steamed cauliflower I've ever made.  The unit is well-made and operates quickly and cleans up fast. Thank you for making such a well-made appliance which I hope I'll be using for years and years to come.  Even though I received this as a sample to try, it's something I would definitely buy or give as a gift.

Fantastic cooked rice meal!

I was pleasantly surprised upon receiving this little cooker. It is an excellent size and the steamer basket on top is certainly a bonus. My first time using it I maxed out the amount of rice you can make it one time and steam some broccoli on top. It helped make for an excellent baked chicken meal. Then the next day with the leftover rice and chicken I was able to make a nice cream of chicken and rice soup.  Having taken the whole meal to a neighbors house the only thing that I would suggest to change on this unit is clips to hold the lid and the steamer basket in place for traveling. Otherwise, if this is something that you just simply use at home it's an excellent resource to help free up an additional stovetop burner.  ***I received this product to review.

Excellent Cooker

This compact attractive rice cooker works perfectly in my small kitchen with limited counter space.  It's super easy to use: add rice, add water, flip the lever and about 15 to 20 minutes later you've got some perfect fluffy rice. 

There are rice cookers on the market with a lot more bells and whistles but if you are a single person or couple, this cooker is perfect for you.

I love that they include a steamer. You can cook a complete meal - veggies, rice and protein - all at the same time. Perfect for the person on the go who wants to still eat healthy.

Great Little Rice Cooker

I didn't know what I was missing until I replaced my big old rice cooker w/ this cute one.  Directions on rice & water measurements were easy to follow.  I liked that the pot was non-stick and cooked the rice just right.  The only reason why I took away 1 star was because I think that the "Cook" & "Warm" buttons in front should say so w/ words & not just have a vague illustration.  I always had to pause for a few long seconds to make sure that I was pressing down the right one.

Perfect For a Small Family

I bought this cooker because the box says it is 'perfect for making delicious soups stews, hot breakfasts (oatmeal and grits), chili, and mac & cheese' and the manual includes these recipes and more. In reality, there is nothing in the manual about this. When looking at the questions and answers on the website it says that this cooker has not been tested fror anything but rice and there are no instructions for using it for oatmeal (or anything else), which is specifically what I purchased it for. I will be returning the cooker.
