Blending Performance

My last Oster product lasted at least 50 years before motor stopped working.  It is a very useful product I use daily!

I bought this 2 days ago.  I have made smoothies twice.  The blender is not powerful enough to mix all ingredients without assistance.  I had to take off the top and stir the smoothies so that all ingredients would be mixed in.  As I added additional ingredients, they just sat on the top while the blender was blending.  This included when I added additional juice.  I thought the speed would pull down the juice and fruit.  I was wrong.

Bought this while rushing to prepare for the quarantine and didn't want to spend too much, and quickly learned you get what you pay for. While it manages to make smoothies and mixed drinks, it takes a lot of effort to do so, and then no matter what you do there's always a mess!! Without a "pour" edge on the pitcher, you are guaranteed to spill whatever you've blended. It also doesn't make nearly enough or mix in a way that helps incorporate any supplement I might add. Bottom line I am extremely disappointed and should have taken the time to research and spend a little more money. PS:I rarely review products good or bad, but after a few weeks using this product, I decided I needed to let you know.

Not what I expected from an Oster!

I never thought I would see an Peter jar break the first time I used it.  I was blending a shake with no ice and the jar cracked and spilled all over the place.  Didn't know what was happening until I unscrewed the bottom an notice the crack.  Now I have to order a new one and don't seem to find a replacement locally.  So disappointed...

Jar Broke on First blend

I purchased yesterday and noticed the instructions are not clear, missing sealing ring, and just a totally poor quality blender.  I thought I would give it another chance and purchased a different model Oster blender cost more .  YES I got the same results!!!  Insane right!
I just wanted it to make smoothies... I will return and purchase another brand maybe Hamilton Beach.  Oster no longer produces quality products and I'm disappointed.

POOR QUALITY

I bought this blender YESTERDAY. Took it out this morning, followed all the directions, but nope. It won't even turn ON. Thought maybe it was the outlet, so I tried THREE different ones. So completely disappointed. Got this to make some sauces, and it doesn't even turn on. Not what I expected from this line.

This blender is absolutely perfect if you are looking to mix water with some more water. Anything else I would recommend going with a different brand. Add one ice cube into the mix and good luck getting more than a fifth of the drink to get any sort of mixing. I would recommend doing some hand chopping of your own with any ingredients and then maybe some of your own mixing and smashing before even attempting to put anything inside this blender.

I am in agreement with all that was said so far.  By bad for not reading the reviews.  I I I Always felt that Oster was a good product.  In my haste to buy a low volume blender to use occasionally I never guessed it would be this bad.  I would suggest you take this off the market for misleading advertising.  I will definitely do my homework before I buy another Oster product.

Misleading

The worst blender... agree with all the other comments. I tried making smoothies about 5-10 times.  Akways had to stop and stir, abiut 5-10 times. 
Then 2 days ago i smelled something burning. And smoke was coming from the motor. Im returning this today!!!

Do not buy this so called blender

Super disappointed. We love smoothies in our house and we bought this with the intentions of making them. The blades arent long enough to get the fruit or ice cream moving and chopped up. Like I said super disappointing.
