Only made two loaves so far, but both are excellent. The bread pan is long and thin, so to get a normal sized slice, you slice it sideways. I will note that the recipe for whole wheat bread doesn't include oil which I think is an error. We added oil regardless and it turned out well.

Awesome bread maker

I like that it's compact, it looks nice, it makes good bread easily, it's quiet, and it doesn't move around. I even made cookie dough in it that baked up beautifully in the oven. But I only used the fruit & nut dispenser once because I had a hard time getting it off to clean it, then couldn't get it back in so it would work again. Please, I need help with this, the dispenser is one of the main reasons I bought the Oster.

Bread machine is easy to use for making  bread. Confusi g to just do dough. Followed book to a tee the 2 times i tried. Didnt work so now only the bread

A Bread machine that makes a nice loaf

We've only had it for about a week but are enjoying fresh bread daily. Delivery time was reasonable. Stainless finish shows fingermarks but not hard to clean to a sparkling finish.

Lotsa dough for not much dough. :-)

I bought this about a month ago and I am extremely happy with it except for one thing.  When making the basic 1.5 lb bread In the express mode I'm not allowed to select the crust color. It basically has no color to it. Am I doing something wrong?

Good homemade bread

If you're planning to make Gluten Free bread in this item, don't use the recipe in the booklet that comes with the breadmaker. I tried it 3 times, making sure I had fresh GF flour and yeast. It didn't rise any of those times and was a solid, underbaked brick! When I tried it with a recipe I found online, it worked great. Oster's recipe doesn't have enough yeast or water for the amount of flour used. Given how expensive GF flour is, it was a very costly learning curve. Oster, please test your recipes better in future.

Warning if you bake Gluten Free

I bought this machine approximately 2 months ago specifically for making gluten free bread. I used the recipe that came with the machine.  I have made four batches each time adjusting the flour and yeast mixture. I have yet to Thake a loaf of gluten free bread using this machine.  
After reading the reviews regarding gluten free and using your recipe, I am very disappointed.  I guess I should have done my research and not relied on the Oster name.

Disappointed with the gluten free bread

I tried all 3 different options for light, medium and dark bread and all 3 times it wasn't baked enough. This machine also have too small baking pan and couldn't make 2 lb bread. I was very dissatisfied of this purchase. The only thing I would like is the design. But it's not enough to keep the machine.
