The Oyster clippers are absolutely fantastic

Love this trimmer. Very light but sturdy. Hardly any vibration and very quiet. Gave my husband my first ever covid 19 haircut and he was very happy with it! Would recommend these to anyone!

Low noise,feels good in hand.runs cool after long cuts..

As good as it gets for under 100$ Has an excellent build quality, and great heft when in your hand. Feels rock solid. Here's an example of how good this buzzer is... I have a metal hand held grinder, If you don't know, grinder's literally cut through steel. It works excellent at doing just that; it has a 10 watt motor. This buzzer has a 9 watt motor! I'm pretty sure it will cut hair for many, many years to come. So far so good

Oster is the best clipper

So far its has worked pretty good, does get hot if run to long cutting very thick fur- hair. Golden Doodle, had just over 6 months growth, so very thick. I gave 4 star, due to waiting to see how long they stay sharp. One other thing, the clip on  guides , I could not use, hair would not cut with them on. That part was ok, as I do a full body close cut.  I think the guide would work fine for a dog with hair, not fur. I do like the size of the clippers, they are not heavy, and easy to handle.

Good size clippers, easy to handle.

Machine works great. I saw a lot of professional barbers using it. The appearance isn't what I expected, kinda dull looking, not a glossy finish over the design like I pictured but looks really don't matter with the cutting power that it has!

Disappointed. For the cost, I was expecting this clipper to be much better than my (very) old WAHL clipper. Sure, the motor is quieter but cutting is about the same. The clipper also had some stains on the cutting blade guard (grooves). I wrote this off as oil residue from the manufacturing/assembling process.

Oster vs Old WAHL

I have one of these from at 15 years ago it is great. I got so many people to buy one because of me telling them how much I liked this. But I bought one for my father and the quality of it now is terrible!!!! It is much louder, and it cuts terribly!! I tried cutting his hair after he complained and looked like he cut his hair with rusty old scissors. I will never tell anyone to get this again. I had to fix his head with my 15 year old clippers that have never even been resharpened.  And I use it biweekly. It cuts much better than the brand new clippers. 15 years old same model same manufacturer and the quality back then night and day!!! Oster you lost many customers. You went cheap for more profit. And these are not inexpensive clippers. They are supposed to be for salons and professionals. Junk nowadays!!!
