Device is small in size and easy to handle.

Its been hard finding a waffle maker without a prop 65 warning on it that is also also PFOA free AND PTFE-free. Makes great waffles, heats evenly throughout. I highly recommend this item!

So, I recieved this Oyster  Titanium duraceramic waffle maker and first want to say it makes amazing waffles, very thick and perfectly cooked! This waffle maker had made my weekends cooking for the entire household of 8 a breeze. I love that this is so small and convenient to use. With the ceramic  inside there was no need to grease this puppy up. Waffles came out perfectly brown and cooked all the way through after tossing the first batch. ( due to the chemical smell this brand new product gives off but normal because it has never been used fyi) Very easy clean up process no need for any hard scrubbing. I recommend this waffle maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this waffle maker , we use it daily . My family and I are very happy with it , it's very easy to use and very easy to clean . It has a 2 different lights a red and green . When you plug it in you have to wait for the green light to turn on and then it's ready . We usually wait for the steam to stop coming and then we know the waffle is ready . It's a medium size waffle maker but still travel friendly , yes travel friendly because we've traveled with it multiple times . And the waffles never stick to the inside . I would definitely recommend! It's a must if you have a big family.

Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this the morning after receiving it - as my family eats a lot of waffles and pancakes through the winter. I am loving it! First of all - it's not a huge size that takes up lots of awkward space in the cupboard and for me that is absolutely wonderful. It is so easy to understand, use and cooks perfectly golden/brown waffles! My family loved them of course and I was pleased too that it was easy to clean in the end. I would recommend this waffle maker!

Lost Manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool new kitchen gadget! I've akways been a big fan on homemade waffles and this verticals waffle maker is a different and easier way to make them! The vertical design makes it take up less room on your counter top if you prefer to leave it out. Pouring the batter in from the top gets me the perfect shaped waffle every time and I don't have excess running out the sides or a waffle that doesn't have enough batter so it's smaller. I do wish the pour up had a spout to make it a little easier to pour in. You will have to thin out your batter a bit to make it easier to pour into the machine. All in all I definitely recommend this Oster waffle maker!

What a cool new waffle iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying this waffle maker, but it did take a little getting used to.  The non stick surface is a breeze to clean.  It takes a little practice getting the right amount of batter to make the "perfect" waffle.  It also gets extremely hot on the outside and the top where the batter is poured in.  Not something that I would allow my kiddos to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the top pour design was really interesting but in reality it just doesn't work, at the very least it just isn't necessary.  
The pros: High quality material. Amazingly non stick, no spray needed, waffles easily slide right out.  Waffles come out well cooked, leave them in longer after the green light turns on and they get nice and crisp on the outside. 
The cons: The pour cup provided needs to be filled to the very top or more to actually fill the waffle maker to the top, when pouring an extremely full cup into the funnel it is impossible not to make a bit of a mess.   Batter runs over the cup and down the sides of the funnel when pouring. The directions ask you to use a spatula to clean every bit of batter out of the cup each time, why not just make the cup bigger or have a larger cup with a fill line? When using the full cup my waffles never came out completely round or full.   You can't add toppings with this design unless you premix them in the batter.  I have one kid who likes chocolate chips, another blueberries, and I like to add pecans and a cinnamon swirl, not happening here unless you divide your batter or mix in the tiny pour cup.  Gravity is working against having fluffy waffles, I just don't understand the idea of making a waffle vertical, causing the batter have to to work harder to rise to the top.  I much prefer the horizontal makers that rotate.  
Overall I would not recommend this design.  It's just unnecessary and counter productive to the way waffles rise.  Great quality brand, choose a different model.

High quality material, poor design

I've had this waffle iron for a few years now. I would've replaced it sooner but I hate to spend money on a new one when this one works good enough. 
Pros: it heats quickly and cooks evenly. After a while it requires only a little cooking spray to keep it nonstick (better than others I've owned). Easy clean up and store
Cons: the unit will pop open unexpectedly in the middle of cooking. This causes batter to fly all over. You can close it back up and finish the waffle though. The pour spot is too small to fit berries, etc down. I love blueberry waffles and haven't had them in a long time. Mini chocolate chips are all I can mix in to the batter.

Don't recommend if you like blueberry waffles

Every time my husband wants waffles, he gets pancakes. This is absolutely a nightmare kitchen appliance! There's no off and on switch, burn number one. It tips over unless you grab hold of it, burn number 2 and 3. Today was my third time to use it and even though I paid a lot for it, I wouldn't even GIVE it away. It will sit on my top closet shelf for eternity. I have a tag on it that says “caution: this appliance causes extreme pain from burns”. Throw it away, but cut off the cord first.
