This is my second OTT light purchase, the difference between this lamp and other task lighting is night and day, literally. I have other lamps that emit a yellow glow but this one is clear, making it just so easy to see what I am working on. 
I use this one for sewing because the sewing machine light is simply not bright enough to work with. I would recommend this light over all others for crafting, sewing or any other task that requires good, clear lighting.

This lamp is an eye saver. I use one near my computer and another as a nightstand lamp. Terrific in both places. Gives a lot of light and no glare.

Can't Say nuttin' Bad!

Very nice. Needed a desk lamp.  This is perfect.

Slimline fits nicely into certain areas.  However, it also considerably narrows the lit area given that there is not the same reflective area behind the bulb.  Great for very narrow lighting; not so much for anything over 6" or so wide.

Consider area of use.  Will it fit and/or cover?

It's a wonderful light, however it is not dimmable- which is what I need when using as a reading light. OttLite was very helpful in letting me return it and I bought a different task light.

Great light if you don't need dimming features.

It states the height being 19 plus inches, if you want to have the light shade in the upright position; not very practical!
