[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very useful magnifier lamp light.  It has a flexible head, so you can adjust for your needs.  The magnifier and led lights make it easy to read or work on something using both hands.  It has a nice heavy base you can place it wherever you need it.  Can be used as a floor size or change it into the table size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light was super easy to assemble with great instructions.  I love that the base is heavy, making it really sturdy.  I do a lot of crafting and this is perfect for allowing me to see really well.  The magnifier is really awesome as well!

Great light!

I do lots of needlework so purchasing this lamp was a great investment. It includes better LED lighting and optional ways to use it (floor lamp and table lamp). Also, the price is the lowest I've found but only available at Walmart.com.  Available only in black.

Great features!

I love this lighted magnifier. It converts from a floor lamp to a table lamp pretty easily and I use it in my home workshop for a variety of projects. The large magnifier makes it easy to see whatever I put under it, and it is really bright with all the LEDs. Great product!

Wow! Great LED Magnifier!

I purchased the OTTLite 2 in 1 LED magnifier for use on my reloading and gunsmith bench. I needed something that would allow me to see small parts, put extra light right where its need. The light is perfect in several aspects. The first is it is both a table and a floor lamp. The built in ring light provides good lighting for the viewing area and it its flex head allow you to put it into almost any position you need. Overall I think its a great product. I would give it five stars but there are two things I think that could use improvement. The first is the quality of the glass. Its good, but its not great. The second is the bifocal style magnifier within the magnifier. It's not very sharp and its difficult to get it into focus as the depth of field is very shallow. With a premium piece if glass I would give it a 5! For now lets settle on 4.5.

A winner on the loading bench!

Light is good.  I find the tiny magnifying lens within the larger magnifying glass too blurry for me to look through and therefore useless to me.   I have assembled it into the floor lamp configuration.  When I pick it up to move, it falls apart.  The locking mechanism within the lamp's stem is poorly designed and it doesn't firmly lock in place.  So to move it, one must pick it up below the joins. The base is heavy which means it won't fall over however one cannot slide the base underneath say a table or a couch because it is too thick.

Good light and magnification

I bought a battery operated magnifying floor lamp 2 years ago and enjoyed using it. My daughter has it now and it appears that model is no longer available so I bought the floor/table model for myself. I am disappointed that it lacks the flexibility of the first lamp. I cannot get the magnifier over my cross stitch to comfortably work. It does not matter which chair I sit in; the magnifier is too high and won't bend to position over my work.

Disappointed

This lamp is currently being manufactured with a plastic connection point between the bendable arm and the base (table configuration) or pole (floor configuration) and the bendable arms' range of motion starts about a third of the way up the shaft. What this means is that whenever you bend the lamp or move it using the handle provided on the lamp you are exerting leverage torsion stress onto a 1/4 inch  hollow tube of cheap plastic. It will break. The arm itself from the pole to the far end of the magnifier <being generous> is about 16 inches, and the base is roughly 10.5 at a height of about 2 inches which can drastically reduce its effective range if it wont slide under where you are working- such as a couch or a countertop with a shallow footing. Unless you intend to be standing or holding your work up at eye level under the lamp you are going to need to find a stool when using the floor config because the pole length is too tall for most chairs or couches. If these design flaws dont bother you, and they should, then its a good lamp.
