Let's face it for the price of a good Otter Box product you can help a smaller company with a great idea AND THWART A LARGE COMPANY THAT RELYS ON PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE! Thunk about that for a moment as the price of everything is going up! I've said it before and I'll say it again: MAKE ALL OF MY DEVICE PROTECTION OTTER BOX! ALL OF IT!

Perspective: compare Otter Box's replace and purchase policy to returning or replacing a “smart phone” of any make or model. I ask you: which process is easier and more holistic?

In Near Mint Condition Because of Otter Box

Love my Otterbox! Originally purchased one three years ago. As promised, was replaced free of charge just a few weeks ago when I could no longer get it to properly fit on my phone after removing it. (Original was pretty battered from use.) Original had more of a “case” feel to it since it had top and bottom pieces that snapped together; I liked that. Hoping the hard rubber edge on the replacement doesn't allow dirt and debris to collect on inside seams or along the left-side ringer button.

Loyal Otterbox fan

Easy to find on website and just as durable as the one I replaced (3 days after I got it, my phone fell off the motorcycle I was riding and a car ran over it but there was virtually no damage).

Easy and durable

I have been using the commuter series on my phone for years! This new case does not disappoint and I like the new grip features on the back. It provides good protection for the phone without being bulky, I think it is better than the symmetry series. Love the color as well, highly recommend.

Sturdy case, pretty color

Stood the test of 4 years before replacing! I got this case when the iPhone 12 first came out in 2020 and I have dropped that thing soooo many times. It was only this year at some point that I had dropped it enough that the OtterBox was badly damaged. I finally replaced it…with the same case (just a different color)! The screen protector has been broken several times when I drop it at just the wrong angle but between that and the OtterBox, my phone has been saved! I've tried other cute cases before and they just don't compare to the protection I've received with Otter Box. I do wish there were more colors and the lighter colors do tend to discolor on the silicone part but otherwise, I have no complaints!

High quality!

Pros: High Edges! The edges are raised about 1/5" above the screen even with a glass screen protector!
Rear Camera edges are raised about 1/5" above the lenses and 1/4" above the back of the phone. 
Edges around rear camera are black. 
More drop protection then most cases. 
Cons: Need more color options. Especially dark red.
Room for improvement: The edges around the rear camera could be more matte.
FYI: This case is trades improved protection for a bit more bulk.

Commuter Series Case for iphone

You seem to have changed your design from former versions.the case does not firmly grasp the outlines of the phone and easily becomes detached.

Loose Fitting Easily Detached Case

MagSafe barely attaches to my charger, unlike older OtterBox it is replacing. This has resulted in mornings with an uncharged phone because it doesn't attach well to the charger. With 2020 version of this case, I can hold the phone by charger cord and the magnet is strong enough to keep it attached.

Good looking case, bad MagSafe integration

Case does not fit well over the volume up/down buttons on left, nor over the on/off on right. It leaves a small gap between the phone and the case in those areas. But even worse is it blocks the charging port...I struggle to insert the charge cable and fear I am damaging the port.

Poorly designed for iPhone 12

I returned it because it didn't fit my phone I have the pro max but your other case lasted so long I forgot to put max when searching and by the time I hit purchase I realized it was the wrong size so there was no way to cancel the order.. no fail safe in place ..
