This is my second otterbox. My last phone had one on it from day one and it looked brand new when i got my new phone after 3.5 years. The otterbox protected my phone from multiple drops. 
The new otterbox is a little bit slimmer and better fit one the phone. Love that you can pick different colors on the otterbox web site. I got the red case with gray highlights.
Otterbox warranty is the best out there. The belt clip broke on my previous otterbox and with out question they sent me a hole new otterbox not just the broken part but a new defender series case.
If you want to protect your phone from getting broken or damaged get an otterbox.

I brought the galaxy  s7 months ago and ended up cracking my screen because I didn't have an otter box for it. I ordered a replacement and immediately ordered a otter as well.  I've dropped  it maybe 1 or 2 times with the otter box , and I am highly satisfied with the protection

Amazing Purchase

I have purchased Otterbox cases before so, you can tell I think the are terrific. In fact, our son was in a dangerous situation in flood waters that had him submerged in water with his galaxy phone, enclosed in an Otterbox case, in his pocket. His phone worked and he was able to contact 911 for help. They kept him on the phone for two hours until they could get to him for rescue. He had to use the flashlight on the phone so they could find him. He is safe and the phone is still working. I think that is a great testimony for your product.

This is my third Otterbox.

Purchased this as a present to go along with my daughter's new Samsung S7 Cell phone.  First of all, when we purchase or upgrade to a new phone-it does not leave the store without first having an Otterbox Defender series case on it. After two years of use, when we removed the case off of the old phone, it still looked brand new.  In the past if we had a problem with the case, all it took was a phone call and it was replaced or the part was replaced as needed. Greatest Customer service ever!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC BEAUTIFUL CASE

I gave my wife an Otter Box case for her iPad and she really likes it so I decided to look at one for my Galaxy S7 at the local Walmart.  I liked it and ordered it online a couple of days later.

It was fairly easy to place the phone inside the box, it completely encases the phone except for the earpiece, home key, rear back camera, speaker and microphone.  It is heavy duty and thus I decided to not get insurance on the phone.  The only reasonable thing this case would not protect your phone from is theft.

There are three things you may not like about this case though.  One is the weight and bulk.  Due to how rugged it is, the weight and size of the phone increase noticeably.  The case covers the volume and power buttons and are thus harder to push than without the case.  The case also covers some of the top screen making it somewhat difficult to swipe the status bar.

These cases have provided excellent protection for every smartphone i have owned. I drop my phone regularly and never even think about it. I was even in a car accident at 65 MPH with one of the older models, the phone flew across the car and cracked my wind shield but didn't hurt the phone or the case at all and i used it for another year. My only compliant is that the front opening on the case for the Galaxy S7 seams a tiny bit to small so sometimes its hard to grab the pull down menu. Still, its not worth trying a brand i don"t trust. I recommend this product to everyone i know, they usually buy it while there Phone is at the shop getting the cracked screen replaced.

Defender Series

I love the defender series, everytime I drop my phone o can trust the case to protect it. I just bought my new phone with a new case last month and I've already dropped it a total of 13 times, a total of 7 was on the road or other concrete based area, not even a scratch exists on my phone.

The Trust Fall

To be honest I'm not impressed with this cover. I didn't realise before I purchased it that there is three open areas in the cover that could and did let dust in. I need a cover that protects the speakers from metal dust. If all you need is it  protected from drops it is fine.

Not dust proof

A very important feature of a Samsung is the pull down menu on the top of the screen.  This case makes an unsuccessful attempt at pulling it down 9 times out of 10, which is very frustrating.  It also doesn't register the keys being hit accurately and for this price it should be much more accurate.  Although it protects the phone well when dropped,  it needs to allow access to the screen and phone features as well.  The case for the s4 was much better.

Needs improvement

The durability of the case is great when the phone gets dropped but I have to remove the case at least once daily to be able too clean dust, lint, grass or other small debris out from under the cover. The debris comes in through the hole for the button on the bottom of the screen protector. I would not recommend case.
