Great product ! New phone new OtterBox! Was introduced to product in 2015 on my old iPhone 6+ and never forgot the ruggedness of that case as it landed on concrete floors at work , on rocks in the woods while walking , flying off console in trucks during evasive maneuvers!

As a teacher with behavioral students who like to throw my phone on multiple occasions, an OtterBox case is an ESSENTIAL for me. This Defender Series Pro gives me the confidence that if my phone is grabbed off the table and chucked into the ceiling or wall, my phone is safe from damage. Literally, it has been thrown multiple times without any issues. The only thing I've needed to replace is the separate screen protector that I have. This case gives me peace of mind.

Worth it!

My phone is still perfectly safe and not even cracked! I'm impressed!!! All my other phone cases have had cracked screens when dropped or once even shattered completely but my new otterbox one has been with me for a month and was perfect even after falling out of my pocket while, hitting the ice below and sliding away!!!!!

Dropped my phone a million times

Great Case, the texture on the back of the case provides a comfortable feel and a nice grip. I will say the charging capabilities could be better as pass through charging is slow through the case. I would recommend using a wired charger with the case. All around it's a good product and I got what I paid for.

Works great, feels nice and sturdy

Case is fine but I wish you'd made a new case for the 16e. hiding the multi-function button behind a flap was fine when it was a switch, but now that it's a programmable button I'd like to be able to hit it any time to pull up the camera or whatever, but instead its a process to get to it which makes it a lot less useful.

old design limits functionality

The case fits and looks amazing. There are two main issues. The first is probably an obvious one: because the iPhone 16e has only one camera lens, the hole cut out of the case for the lenses present in other phones is too large for the 16e, and it ends up looking awkward.
The second is that the cover over the side button prevents using that feature as much as would be useful.

Two Opposite Problems

It did not protect my new iphone14!!.I purchased this thinking it would keep my phone from getting damaged but unfortunately it just took one drop from about 2 feet on to a wooden floor to cause a crack right down the middle of the screen ..Im so sorry I gave up my Kyocera dura force that never got damaged no matter how many times it was dropped thru the years or whatever it was dropped on.. I rated this one star for its comfortable feel and grip.

DOESN'T COME WITH PLASTIC SCREEN PROTECTOR , THE RUBBER OVERALL PROTECTOR DOESNT FIT I WON'T BUY OTTERBOX AGAIN

DO NOT TRUST. The model is advertised as fitting a 16E, which is not true.

DO NOT TRUST SIZING AND MODELS

This product is a failure compared to my previous case.  It does not include an integrated screen shield in the case so my phone is not fully sealed up/encased.   You have to buy a separate “glass” to protect the screen.  There is nothing on the web site to indicate this.  Moreover, the extra screen shield, which I bought, does not drop into and integrate with the case.  You must go through an elaborate process to glue it to your phone screen, then put the case on around it.  I have not yet tried it to see if it works because I do not want to mess up my screen with the glued on “glass.”

Beware - Defender Case is No Longer a Good Product
