My only issue with the Galaxy S23 Commuter is the "flap" over the charging port; it's very stiff, making it somewhat awkward to insert the charging cable.

I had the same style of case for my last phone which I just traded in after almost 4 years. The case held up and didn't break and when I took the case off, my phone still looked new. The only piece that didn't stay 100% was little piece that covers the charging port, which wouldnt stay closed after a while but I didn't really mind that. I like the style of this case with the first layer around the phone being soft, with a hard case around it - I feel like that is what keeps the phone so protected without damage. Also, just reading thru other reviews, it seems like Otterbox has good customer service and is willing to replace defective cases or rectify the issue free of charge. I think I will always be a repeat customer

Satisfied repeat customer

A few days after I sheltered my new Samsung phone with the Otterbox commuter case, I had the misfortune of dropping the phone at work.  I watched it as it bounced down 1 stair, 2 stairs, 3 stairs, 4 stairs - literally bounced, then come to a stop.  My phone was FINE, my case is FINE!!!! Amazing!

Best Phone Case Ever

Case overall is fine, will most likely do the job for drops but the dust cover at the bottom doesn't close fully/properly.  I've waited a few weeks to see if over time it would sit into place but no changes.  Not great when I'm always around sawdust and dirt and the cover won't fully close.  Had the defender series for my last phone and I wish I stuck with that.

Standard case but one big flaw.

Looks great. Easy install. Enough room to install a camera protection cover. Wireless charging works great. Charging port cover is difficult to open for wired charging, but i like that the cover sits flush with case and really helps keeps dust and lint out of charging port. Had a few drops no problems case does its job.

Case that works.

I bought a cheap non-Otterbox case and it slid everywhere; I replaced it with the dependable Otterbox and it was just as slick.  I am very disappointed with the case as it has no grip...my old Commuter case had rubber on it so there was grip. This one slides on every surface and slides out of my hand all too frequently.

It is a great product, except that the place where the charging cable goes in, the flap is very hard to open. I am probably going to cut it off so that the area is open.

Almost perfect

I bought this case over a myriad of other products available because I trust the name Otterbox having used these cases over the years.  And I was not disappointed.  This case is solid and fits my S-23 perfectly.  All the button functions work as if there wasn't a case surrounding them at all.  Well done, again!

A name you can trust

This was an excellent choice for my S 23. It fit the phone snuggly and provides sturdy protection.  Easy to install and gives you a great grip. Fits well in back pocket . Strongly recommend this item.

Active persons need this protection and security!!

A great case and purchase. I'd managed to not drop my phone until I got a case, and since have this one, I've dropped it twice and It's been saved!!!
