I just recently purchased the galaxy  s22 and i know by using the otterbox defender, my phone is protected. I always used the defender in the past so i know how good it is. I wouldn't use anything else.

Best Phone Protection

I have used Otter products and products from other manufacturers on phones I have had in the past.  Working in the construction industry, your phone is always getting bumped or falling out of your pocket our you phone clip.  I have found the Otter products hold up much longer and outlast simular products by other manufacturers.  I would recommend Otter to everyone.

Best product to use.

Excellent fit and feel. I won't use the belt clip that is provided but it works nicely as a kickstand. Adds a little bulk to my phone but not as much as expected and it seems very well protected. My last phone case was much more slim but resulted in a cracked back under normal use.

Very satisfied!

I love having colors in the defender series other than black so that i can find the case easier.   I purchased the teal color and it is great.  Of course, i would havs loved to have had more choices in the colors so that i could have matched my favorite college team.

Overall satisfied with the case but it doesn't feel that strong at the edges.  The lip of the case caught the edge of a chair and almost snapped off. Because of the phones button configuration, I can only put the phone in one way, which is upside down (right-handed, on right side).  A minor issue but initially frustrating, as I was used to simply putting the phone in the case and snapping it in.  Now I have to be aware of how I'm holding the phone before putting it away.

Doesn't seem as strong as other cases I've had.

Even though I paid for overnight shipping, it took a whole week to arrive. I'm not a big fan of the holder either, as it uses a pressure system to hold the cellphone to your waist; if you attach it incorrectly, it'll easily fall off.

The case itself is very sturdy and looks nice, though I'm trying to think of ways to cover the camera lengths when I'm not using them.
