My daughters received new phones for Christmas from Santa so my wife and I purchased these cases for their protection.  They were easy to put on and seem to be very capable to do what they are intended.  MagSafe charging has been easy and quick.  The back up Anker MagSafe power supplies work well with the case as does the Apple OEM MagSafe charger.  Time will tell, but so far I/we like them a lot.  When I get my 14 Pro Max, I will most likely be going with this case.

14 Pro Max Fre Case

I am very happy with my OtterBox case. The only concern I have is with the cover for the online charging port. I will also be using wireless charging but I am concerned that the cover's attachment will weaken over time which will also make it vulnerable to water leakage. Definitely recommend to a friend.

Love It! Only One Concern

It's not what I expected. The clear part of the case for the screen is so plastic that it's hard to use your fingers for the screen. I also feel like my phone is not sealed throughly as the top of the case has a very slight part gap

Mmh not worth 100 or 75

I was excited to receive my brand new otter box frē case as I've used them on every iPhone I've used. I joke and say they are “Brittany proof.” However, I am disappointed with this case. It's like there's this gap between my phone screen and the case screen. Because of this, it makes super loud tapping sounds when I text, and I've had tons of issues clicking on items and it'll click on something else. I don't know if just my case is faulty or if it's every case, but I am very dissatisfied with the new case for the iPhone 14 pro max.

Not as good as it used to be

Case is slim and light weight.  Case is also slippery and could use some soft gripping material to prevent it from sliding around in the car and slip out of your hand - also the sound is terrible when listening and speaking.  Could be a great case, but the company stays with the same formula with small changes - they do not listen to the consumer very well.

POTENTIAL TO BE A GREAT CASE

New Fre case is a return to terrible otter box design. I had switched to lifeproof for the sleeker design instead of the bulky rounded case that otterboxes are known for. I saw the two companies had merged and the Fre was now made by otter box. I had loved the Fre for the 360 coverage and sleek case that doesn't increase phone size. Now it's just a bulky rounded overpriced  otter box. It is so disappointing.

New bulky, rounded Fre design is terrible

The case seemed nice on the first day.  Everything was working great.  The 2nd day, my face ID wouldn't work even after resetting it.  The case also seemed to be a big bubble on the front.  It made a clicking sound every time you pushed on it.  I'm planning on sending it back for a refund.

Disappointed on the 2nd day

I am generally a fan of Otterbox cases, but this one was a bust for me.  The protective screen has an airgap to the phone screen requiring a finger "smash" to make contract.  It is noisy "clicky" with each press of the screen.  You have to make very exagerated motions for multi-touch.  And is just feels cheap compared to their other models.  And it was freakin' expensive.  Seriously bummed on this pick.

Fre Series was a hard no for me.

The screen protector could have been at least anti-fingerprint. It's horrible to see fingerprints all over the phone screen. And this always makes the Face ID not to work due to obstruction from the fingerprint.

Not a good product

It's decent but not like the old ones. It blocks the camera so faceid rarely works. Especially in sunlight. It also took over a month and a half to come in. I originally ordered it for Disney world. But it came a week after I got back from my trip so I really was dissatisfied with that. But oh well
