I bought this Pursuit case to replace a symmetry clear case. The symmetry was nice, looked good,  but it was slippery and I really want to protect my 8 plus. Before that I had a Defender, which was great but too bulky.  The Pursuit has it all!  Very trim, lightweight, looks great, has enough of a rubbery edge to keep it from sliding, protects to the max and it has a lanyard to keep it on your wrist which is great in many situations. As usual, Otterbox rules in the ‘protect your phone' world!

Ive been using an otterbox defender forbthe last several years and one thing i always hate was the huiltnin screen protector, infact i removed it from the cases. The persuit case gives me the protection and the added peace of mind from the water seals i want from a case. And a hug bonus to be compatibles with tempered glads screen protectors. If i had one suggestion it would be more rubber to keep it from sliding around on tables and such. I plan on keepig this case for the foreseeable future!

Great case!

It's good hard cover that protects the Iphone. I expected to find a screen protector with it but it didn't include one. Not a bad one, although it's a bit expensive one.

I'm so happy that Otterbox came out with a case that feels like a defender case, but slimmer and no plastic screen! I like being about to touch the actual screen. I hope you will make this for the iPhone 8.

I have only had the Pursuit for about 10 days so I haven't dropped it yet. I really like he thin ness of it. It's hard to me to think or realize that it will be a better case to protect my phone than the defender. I have purchased many defender cases over the years. My phones have never had anything on them except defenders. I have the iPhone 7 Plus so this is a larger phone and with the defender case it gets heavy and bulky. So far I'm very pleased with this case. I will update if I change my mind. To those that think it's a little slippery I would say yes but not bad. Maybe I would like s little more texture in the back to keep it from sliding but I'm happy.

Great So Far!!!

I have been a very satisfied NUUD case owner for my 5, 6, 6s and now 7plus. I wanted to maintain the basic properties on the NUUD and use my glass screen protector. Outerbox hit the nail on the head with this one. I am very satisfied with the Outerbox case.

What I have been hoping for in a case.

I really like this case. The one thing I don't like is the coating on the rubber. Mine started to peel the first day I got it.....super bummed bout that.

Great case but expensive for the quality

the very first day I got the case the part that turns the phone ringer on and off dislodged itself from the case. I pushed it back in but now it is loose and continually falls out

Part dislodging itself from the case

I got this case for vacation. The orange discolored within 2-3 days of use. The rubber piece at the bottom that folds over to cover or uncover the charging port broke off in just as short of time. Lastly, the closure of the front piece to the back piece is not very effective and it opens in various places on the side from time to time. It's annoying, but can be pressed to click back together each time.
More positively, it does handle low to the ground drops fairly and the front facing speaker holes are nice to better direct the sound.
In short, I won't be buying an otter box again.

Discoloration & poor closure

Not as good of protection as the defender I was already using. The bottom piece that opens for port access broke off after three openings. 
I have gone back to my defender case.

Defender case is better.
