I purchased this case more than six months ago.  Simply stated, it meets and/or exceeds all of my needs.  I have been using OtterBox cases for more than six years; all on iPhone.  I have never had a problem. The Symmetry series allows me to protect my current iPhone while reducing the size/bulk of the case.  Nice!

The reason I purchased the  OtterBox I always saw their products everywhere. I heard good things about their cellphone case and how strong they are and design are very cool also. I just purchased the iPhone x for my wife, I want to get a good strong case for a great phone. And OtterBox didn't disappoint at all, I purchased the clear case for my wife Space Grey. And it was cool light and felt stron. I would so recommend this case to anyone looking for good quality with a good name.

Best iPhone X

I have always had a case on my devices because I am prone to dropping them.  This case has saved me more times than I can count.  Looking at the case wear and tear that could have been on my iPhone, I am so glad the case is taking the scratches and impacts for my phone.

Symmetry Series saves my iPhone from damage.

The Symmetry case offers excellent back and side protection for iPhoneX. As for the front, one can put an ‘invisi-glass' type of screen protector for complete protection. Considering the expense of iPhoneX and the fact that the front and back are glass, it gives one peace of mind to seek out the right degree of protection for the phone even if some would argue against it on the grounds that the glass is Gorilla glass. Here, then, are some noteworthy points about this case: 
* It allows the phone to sit in a recessed manner in the case. So the phone's body is protected in a bumper-style manner. Thus, if one drops the phone and it lands on one of its corners, the case's bumper rather than the phone's glass will take the brunt of the impact just as a good protector should do. I would add that due to the way in which the case ‘cuddles' the phone, the dimensions of a front protector screen should so chosen as to prevent the screen's edges from contacting the case's bumper and losing its ability to completely adhere to the phone.  
* The ‘recessed' aspect mentioned above applied to the lens as well so that if one places the camera down, face up, the lens will not be touching a hard surface. Gorilla glass or not, that is a good protective feature for the iPhoneX's lens.
* Symmetry offers a good grip all around its sides. Holding the case, one feels that the case won't just slip out of one's hand like a smoother [faux] leather case might tend to do.

An excellent buy thus far

I am the ultimate phone dropper and my last Iphone (6) had so many cracks it actually rattled before the X finally arrived.  I never liked the bulkiness of the Otter box before, even though my boyfriend has one on his Iphone 5 and it his phone still looks new when you take it out of the case.  With the expense of the X, I decided to check out the Otterbox for myself. I was so happy to see the slim styling of this case and decided to give it a try.  I bought this case online and when my phone came, I went to Apple and bought the glass screen cover which they installed.  I've had my phone now about a month and yes, multiple drops already, and my phone is still in great shape!  The case is nice and slim, and I love the clear back with the sparkly color,  and so sturdy.  Wish I had found these slim Otterbox cases for my iPhone 6! I am now SOLD on Otterbox!

Protection AND Style!

I ordered this even before the new iPhone X arrived.  I wanted to make sure the phone was protected from day 1.  The case fits well, feels well and allows my screen protection ti fit w/o interference.  Time will tell since I have not yet dropped the phone.  The grip feel is good and allows me to feel safe when holding the phone.
I would recommend this case.

Perfect Case for the iPhone X

I ordered this case before the iPhone X came out and received it within a couple of days even though the Otterbox website indicated that it would be a week or so before they were available.  Needless to say, I had it well before the phone's release. 
As soon as I opened the phone, I placed it into the Symmetry case to protect it right from the start.  It was a little bit difficult to get the side of the case past the buttons on the side of the phone, but once they passed over the edge, it snapped on tightly.  It fits very well and lets the beauty of the silver iPhone show nicely.  The case is on the thick side and looks like it will protect the phone very well in the event of an accident.
The only real issue that I've encountered is that the case makes pressing the buttons on the sides of the iPhone rather difficult because it requires quite a bit of pressure to activate them.  Perhaps the sides will soften up i bit with time, but for now they are a bit tough.
I'd definitely recommend the clear Symmetry case if you want to showcase the iPhone's design while still providing it with strong protection.

It's a Great Case for iPhone X

It. took me about a week to pull the trigger on the iphone x.  It took me another two weeks to decide on a case.  I knew I wanted clear & not so bulky.  I also wanted drop protection & scratch resistance.  I researched every brand and read a ton of reviews.  The only option that had all the features I was looking for was this otterbox.  It came one day earlier than expected.  I will have to agree with the other reviewers that it was quite a challence to get on.  My thumbs were sore & red after the ten minute wrestle match.  I havent tried to take it off and I dont ever plan to.  I anticipate a rematch when the day comes.  I love the clarity of this case and how it doesnt take away from the beauty of my phone.  I havent dropped my phone yet (fingers crossed), but if I do I wont be worried.  My favorite part is that the raised edges that protect the screen are also super grippy.  So when I place it on a table or dashboard face down it doesnt slip.  My only complaint is that it has scratched already.  I have been super careful and keep it in a suede lined purse pocket when not in use.  I knew scratches were inevitable, but its only been a couple weeks.  In the end, I bought this case for protection, not looks.

Exactly what I wanted/ Scratches unfortunately

I've had the case for less than a month. I love the look. It's not bulky at all. I've already dropped the phone a few times and my phone has been fine. The case is getting a lot of fine line scratches pretty quickly. I can see bc I have a silver phone. I feel confident in the security of the product, but I question if it will continue to look this nice six months from now.

Lots of compliments received

I love the Otterbox Symmetry series but the clear case does distort the true color of the phone. It shows constant finger prints as well and small swirls and scratches. 

The buttons are perfect and the case provides a bit of the needed thickness to hold the phone without dropping it. That is a good thing. 

The case fits in the back pocket of a standard pair of men's jeans without the overhang the 7 plus case of the same series had.
