Great for lunch or dinner, the chicken tikka masala pairs fragrant basmati rice with all-white chicken pieces and red peppers in a mild onion and tomato cream sauce featuring authentic spices. To cook the meal in a 1200-watt microwave, lift the corner of the plastic film and then microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes. To prepare it in a conventional oven, lift the corner of the film and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the tray on a baking sheet and bake on the middle rack for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. See full details on packaging. This is a nice meal from India when you're craving some and don't want to cook or go out for a meal. It's not too spicy, which I appreciate - mix the sauce with the rice for the best results.

I love this frozen dinner. Great taste and a nice size portion as well. Occasionally, however, the rice is very much undercooked and will require a bit of water and some additional time to steam.

Buy regularly...

As with Our Finest Butter Chicken, the quality and portion sizes are great and reflect the price....but the flavour is just bland! With the Tikka Masala, there is a definite note of red pepper and tomato flavour but not much else.

Flavour is a bit lacking

Small  portion. Tasty sauce, very little chicken, tasteless rice difficult to heat evenly. Stirring well and reheating is a necessity. Try different ways of heating. Microwave may not be the best option. It is an OK quick choice when there is little time to get a meal ready.
