The meal pairs breaded chicken breast pieces with vegetables in a sweet and spicy sauce and a side of fluffy long-grain rice. A quick and convenient way to fuel up after a busy day at work or school, this frozen chicken dish needs less than 10 minutes in the microwave, and less than 30 in a conventional oven. To cook the kung pao chicken in a 1200-watt microwave, lift the corner of the plastic film and then microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time. To prepare it in a conventional oven, lift the corner of the film and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the tray on a baking sheet and bake on the middle rack for 23 to 27 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. See full details on packaging. This is quite tasty - I butter the rice, then stir it all together. The price is great, especially for the quality of the product. So far, all the Our Finest products I've tried are excellent.

Nothing special. Good for a quick bite when you don't wanna cook.

the breaded chicken in this is amaaazing. the one i just opened had lots of chicken in it which was a pleasant surprise. the veggies and onions cook up SO nicely in the microwave and the quality of this meal as a whole was top notch. the downside : for the amount of sodium in this product, i couldn't believe how borderline UNSALTED it tasted (that could 100% be a personal taste thing)...the sauce did have a nice spice to it which gave it flavour, i just really was surprised with the lack of salty-ness.

My husband like this product. He said it was tasty. Likes the way the two items are separate and you can eat together or separate.

But this is a little over-spicy and over-garlicked. Not terrible,  and I will probably buy again, but not optimal.

The chicken and veggie side was tasty, but pretty empty compared to the rice side.  The rice side had one or two pieces of pepper, but was otherwise just rice.  The picture on the box shows lots more veg and chicken than you actually get. The quantity was half of what was on the rice side, and there were only 3 pieces of chicken, as opposed to the picture which shows an abundance of veg and chicken.  The sauce is very good though.

I just can't eat these fiery pepper dishes. if they were labeled as hot, I would not buy them. Now I'm afraid to buy any of.the brand!
