this is much better than the last one I bought. good sturdy material and easy to snap together. this replaced the one I got that was flimsy and drooping over time and the squirrels started to chew on it.

This baffle has saved my sanity! The squirrel can no longer reach the feeder that's hanging from the top of my post! I no longer have to sit and guard that upper feeder! He's welcome to snack off the lower feeder, but when he gets to the high feeder he dumps at all on the ground! This baffle makes that no longer a problem!!!

I bought this to keep the squirrels from eating out of my hanging bird feeder, and it works very well....they continue to climb down the cord, but they slide right off the buffer before they can reach down for the feeder.  Wish I had bought one many years ago, am going to buy another one.

Perfect for the bird lover

This baffle and adjustable mounting bracket fit great on a shepherd's pole. Squirrels cannot get past it. We are happy about how much longer our birdseed is lasting. Highly recommend it if you are tired of squirrelly scavengers.

Everything was great except for the bracket for the pole was not quite right for the shepard hood pole I have. It was not tight enough to keep the squirrel baffle from sliding down the pole. I had to do an adjustment on the pole and hopfully it will work?

Great Squirrel Baffle, But Needed An Adjustment.

i ordered 3 of these. the first baffle was perfect and fit on a 5/8" square shaped pole with ease and stayed in place. and bonus the little red squirel could no longer get up the pole.  

the second baffle came dented not due to the shipper. the box was in excellent condition.  the dent was painted over and hidden under the product sticker, thus terrible quality control. this second baffle before i peeled the sticker off fit on a 1" square shaped pole but i had to use my own spacers as the ones it came with were too big for the 1".   i exchanged this dented baffle for the third baffle . 

the third baffle  came dent free but there was another quality manufacturing issue . the hole in the clamp/bracket was stripped and no longer threaded so the clamp would not stay up. hating to have to exchange another one, i got my own screw and used a nut.  well the 1" pole has 4 hooks but is not as tall as the 5/8" pole and the big brown squirrel was on top of the pole on day!  i adjusted the baffle higher.  the next day or so i noticed at night the baffle was almost touching the ground and i tightened it enough i couldnt slide it! the next step was to take the 1" pole down and put up the 5/8".  upon doing this i noticed another quality issue.  the clamp i received for the 1" pole would not work on the 5/8 pole and vise versa. thus no quality manufacturing consistency. 

upon all the pole changing the baffle itself was easy to take on and put back on over the numberous moves trying to outsmart the squirrels.  the baffle itself never came undone after it was connected in the flange.  also installation was easy for the first and second baffles and could be put on with the pool already in the ground. the baffle unit  is also easily adjustable if you have to raise or lower it. 

before changing back to the 5/8 pole i was resigned to not feeding the birds again  but due to my first baffle the birds are happy and the squirrels big and small are on the ground. 

i highly doubt that i would purchase this brand again due to the quality issues,  however the concept itself would recommend: a metal baffle with the easy on and off flange.

Not all parts were included. No way to attach to pole without bracket.

The material was so hard to work.  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.  It should be discontinued for sale.
