Very nice and heavy. Seems to be withstanding the wind now that we drilled so the screw is going straight through the umbrella pole vs just tightening to the pole.

Love this umbrella stand. It is solid and heavy to ensure the umbrella is supported . It also matches my black wrought iron table. I compared prices at other online stores and Walmart had the best price with an excellent quality product.

18" round patio umbrella base

The base was strong and heavy as it should be. And quality of the product is great too. I gave a 4 star because the instruction manual had only diagram and no written instructions. It took us a good 20 minutes to figure out the part in the diagram given. The umbrella we had bought didn't fit perfectly on the to the base although we did secure it tightly. So now if we have to move the umbrella around, we have to make sure to hold the base & the umbrella pole so that both doesn't come apart. But that again might be an issue with the umbrella itself not with the base.

DOES NOT WORK AT ALL WITH 9FT UMBRELLA...This is probably only for smaller umbrellas. Quality seems ok

This will be way too lightweight for your umbrella. As soon as it's open and there's a bit of wind, this base tips over. It's wayyyy too light unless you have an umbrella made of paper
