Exceeded expections for the price- beautiful stand. Would have been nice if the instructions were included but I found some online. Hammock is more comfortable if you bring a pillow out, then it is perfect.

Great Hammock, beautiful stand

Me and my 10 year old put it together in about 20 mins.  Me and the wife are on it as I type this.  
It is very long and wide u will need space.  We love it.

Hammock

The shipping box was pretty beat up, but it was all there. The hammock is big, about 15ft long.  Solid wood, heavy, it came in pieces and the wood preservative has a strong smell, wash hands after handling.  I assembled it by myself and it took 2 hours.  It would be better if there were 2 or 3 people assembling the hammock . There was a single sheet of assembly instructions.  The instruction diagrams were small and difficult to view, not Ikea quality instructions. Before you start the assembly take an inventory of all the loose pieces.  The parts bag that I received had a hole and some of the loose parts were spilled out into the shipping box.  But all the parts were there.  You need to blindly pass bolts through 3 pieces of heavy wood, tricky.  It will be difficult to pass the bolts through the holes if you completely tighten the bolts as you go.  Only tighten the bolts completely at the  very end. The wood surface is rough and it would be helpful to varnish the wood surfaces.  The hammock is a white cotton canvas, nothing fancy.  No pillow.  The hammock was tricky to hang and tighten on the wood frame.  I would recommend buying a pair of turbuckes to tighten the hammock to the chains.  It is bulky to move around, it would be nice if there were a pair of wheels at one end to move the hammock around like a wheel barrow.  But it is worth it, nice to lie on the hammock outside and view the stars with binoculars or pick up that Yemen radio station on a SW radio at night.  The price of this hammock goes up and down by $200, so shop around.

Frustrating assembly but worth it

Good for non lightweight people

Beautiful and easy to put together HOWEVER, I've laid on it ONCE for one hour and one of the sides is already splitting. I only weigh 175 so I know the weight limit wasn't an issue. We tightened all bolts and buts as directions said. Pretty disappointed it's unusable. Only have two stars for the looks.

Wood split quick

I bought this in July 2016. I was very happy with it initially. I used it only a handful of times in my yard because of the heat. When winter came, I rolled it up and stored it out of the weather. I brought it back out in April of 2017. I was on it for no more than 10 minutes when it tore in half. The hammock I was sent was not quilted or sewn to prevent rips and tearing. Too much time has passed for a return or refund. Don't buy this cheap product.
