I'm a mom of multiple kids in multiple sports. Had 3 of my kids this summer playing in white baseball/softball pants. I spent a Monday/Tuesday one week doing some science experiments on what products work best to get grass and dirt out because I was sick of scrubbing and still having to re-wash. This BY FAR was the best product out of everything I used. I wouldn't say it got all the stains out on its own, but it was the best additive to any other combination I used; it also did get MOST stains out if I did use it on its own. I have gone through 8 sticks of this in two months. The best combination of products I included at the end in case anyone was looking.

My biggest complaint is that the stick isn't larger. For me, this washes about 5 pairs of pants worth of stains, which is about 1 weekend worth of pants. Hence why I have gone through 8 of them and why I currently have 3 in my laundry soap drawer. But it wasn't a high enough complaint to take away a star. 

Second regret is mainly just the fact that I guess there is no magic product out there that keeps me from using elbow grease. Haha. Mainly a personal problem. I've found a large nail brush is the best combination of hard bristles that are soft enough they won't tear into the fabric. 

The best combination of products I found, for those in similar situations, is CLR sports stain spray on FIRST, this gel on second, Clorox 2 (the blue kind) on top. Let sit for about 5 min then scrub until stains are about halfway scrubbed clean with a large nail brush then wash with Clorox 2 as your detergent (I'll throw a Tide Pod in as well if they're SUPER dirty) with a scoop of Oxyclean in the drum. I'd say that got about 98% of stains out the first time. Bonus points if you add an audio book or music along Good luck! Happy scrubbing!

When my son started playing every sport in the book, this came in handy for all the deep grass, stains and random six-year-old stains that typically appear out of nowhere. This is my favorite stain remover because I'm able to rub the solution into each stain for maximum results.

BEST WAY TO GET OUT STAINS

The Oxi Clean Max Force Laundry Stain Remover I have found is the best stain remover I have found yet in the US for set in stains.  I have left the stain remover on longer than 7 days by accident, but the stain still comes out.  I do wish it came in a larger container.

This stuff gets out grass stains on my sons white baseball pants so easily. We apply it when we get home and just toss it in his hamper where it sits for a day or 2. By the time it's washed they look good as new. It never harms other clothes in his hamper and has never hurt the white pants.

Best Stain Remover Gel Stick

The best thing I have tried for removing stains. Has taken new and old stain out. Sometimes you have to let it treat the stain for a day or two before washing.

This stuff is a total laundry lifesaver. The gel stick makes it super easy to apply right where you need it—no mess, no guessing—and it works incredibly well on tough stains.

I've used it on grease, food spills, makeup, and kid-related messes, and it consistently comes through. I love that you can treat stains ahead of time and toss the item in the wash later—it keeps working while you wait.

Works great! A laundry staple

I used to LOVE this product. I had gotten it for my daughter to use at college. She LOVED it. She could put it on stains and let it sit until her wash day which was sometimes close to a week later. Worked great. Then I started using it at home. Wonderful. HOWEVER, recently they changed the design. I have arthritis and I CANNOT push hard enough to get the gel out. I squeeze like crazy, sometimes I get some out, other times I give up and use something else (that's usually less effective) PLEASE go back to the old design or make something easier to use! I'm not sure why it was changed in the first place. I almost never review products but this is very disappointing.

I used this little roll on stick to pretreat clothing  w/several everyday stains   a few tough stains. Generally, the Oxy formula works great on most common stains %26 clothes are noticeably brighter. I did not have as much luck on removing pen ink. I immediately treated the tougher stains including ink, allowed them to sit for 24 hours %26 also applied my usual spray on Dawn dish soap. Due to fabric types, I could only use the coolest wash setting. Perhaps it would have removed more of the ink on a higher heat setting (?). I didn't see much benefit in the roll on/scrubbing applicator along with the gel. I will definitely repurchase for everyday use, but I prefer a spray on application.

OxyClean roll on gel

This new Oxi Clean stain remover is totally different than the older one that I had. The packaging: smaller quantity, cap very hard to remove, different way to apply. Instead of the one push down applicator, you now have to squeeze the stuff out and then go over it with the bottle. I don't have the old container to compare ingredients, but this newer gel doesn't work as well or at all on stains. The former gel was very effective. I don't recommend this product.
