OxyClean White Revive Laundry Whitener really works.  I had used it for awhile but when I really leaned how well it worked was when I needed to clean the ding off of a white area rug.  I sprinkled the OxyClean on the rug, poured water on and scrubbed lightly with my fingers and right before my eyes it turned back to its original color.  It was like the old commercials that you would see when OxyClean first came out.  I add to every white or light laundry load.

I am 68 years old and I only wash a very small white load by hand because it's so small including my white sneakers. but lately the bleach has been making my hands raw and sore so I needed a bleach alternative. so I got on to the Walmart store site and I put in bleach alternative and it came up with this one. I wanted the powder so that I can make a paste and put it on the shoes and scrub them with a brush. you don't need to do that soak them in hot/warm water along with your laundry soap and a very small amount of the bleach alternative. my shoes came out so white. I don't think they were that white when I first bought them brand new. I highly recommend this for anybody who is sensitive to bleach or just cannot stand the smell of bleach anymore get this and use it you will not be disappointed...

I've been using OxiClean White Revive Laundry Whitener for my whites, and I'm honestly impressed with how well it works. It really helps brighten dingy whites and gets out stains and odors without being harsh like bleach can be. My clothes, towels, and even older items are looking much fresher and cleaner. Definitely something I'll keep using in my laundry routine!

Great for Brightening Whites

I have to say, it works! I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm glad I finally tried it. One tip I discovered is that pre-soaking my shirts in a bucket of warm water for a few hours (the longer, the better) significantly improved the results. In fact, I'd estimate I was able to remove about 97% of the armpit stains. Keep in mind, these shirts had been stained for quite some time before I treated them with OxiClean, so I was impressed with the outcome.

What I've learned is that patience truly pays off with these products. Simply tossing some OxiClean into the washing machine drum can help, but the real magic happens when you let the garments soak in warm water with the product for a few hours beforehand. That extra step makes all the difference and delivers much better stain removal. Highly recommended for stubborn stains and for those willing to put in a little extra time.

Excellent Results with a Little Patience

This is one of the ingredients that I use in my homemade laundry detergent for my family. My son has sensitive skin and a toddler so making detergent that doesn't irritate his skin and gets the stains out of his clothes is important! It doesn't really have a smell and works best when you soak your clothes with it. I use it for my colored clothes and whites.

If you were wondering, should I buy this like I did over and over in my head I needed something to whiten my whites and to clean my laundry better! And after purchasing it and using it, I was absolutely flabbergasted  had a pair of green carpenter pants that were covered with black. I don't know if it was grease or what it was. I thought these will never come clean. It's absolutely miraculous when I pulled them out of the washing machine. There was not a spot on them😮

Soaking severely stained dark colored clothing items for 6 hrs. or more(overnight) using hot water and Oxi clean white revive for whites, removed even dried in stains. 
A couple of denim items with dried in stains required a second overnight soaking with hot water and Oxi clean white to completely remove  the stains.
I have not yet tried using on stained white items or stained items in cold or warm water.

I got this as an alternative to bleach for my whites. It is cleaner and doesn't bleach out everything that comes in contact with it. It seems to work really well at keeping my husbands white crew socks white, which is no easy task. It is great for my white bedding.

If you don't have hot water to wash with, it does not work as well. I wash my dog's blankets with the hose, so it does not work as well for her. 
My own clothes it is amazing! Using hot water to soak stains works a charm!
Then, just use soap to clean out the product. White as new!
A little more work, as my clothes washer does not have hot water attached. 
But well worth the effort for smaller items.

Yellow stains be gone!

This really whitens the laundry! My husband's work clothes take a serious beating especially when landscaping or working on diesel engines and this product removes a lot more of those stains  than bleach or other brighteners. When not used the dirt from one garment can stain other work clothes in the same load. . When this product is added to the washer, I don't see the transfer of dirt/stains  %26 his work clothes come out cleaner %26 fresher. .  I highly recommend this laundry additive!

Don't air your dirty laundry in public!

I soaked a set of dingy white sheets in this for about 5.5 hours. It was reasonably effective, they didn't look new but were significantly better. The problem is, the product stinks. All of the windows and the bathroom fan had to be on while using, and after FIVE WASHES, including with vinegar, laundry sanitizer, and unscented Oxiclean, they still smell awful.

Works but stinks
