Cork Bottom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these, one black the other white for two reasons. First, I was tired of lifting the 40oz'rs in the house. On a car trip okay but in my living room I wanted something smaller. What honed me in to these, the cork bottom. It's not real cork but rubber like material which is fine with me as it will last longer anyway. The cork bottom protects surfaces, I find I don't need a coaster. The insulation works very well. I use the white one for cold drinks and find the ice will last for hours and hours. I take ice water to my nightstand when I go to bed and 8-9 hours later when I wake there is still ice. The black one I use for coffee. The coffee causes the o-ring on the lid to smell like coffee and you can't clean it off so I always use a dedicated tumbler or switch a dedicated lid on that isn't used for coffee. Coffee stays hot for 2-3 hours and warm for 5-6 hours.  These are the perfect size for coffee and other drinks as well where you don't want gallons (I'm being dramatic) you want 18 oz. I tried to order more lids for these but they are out of stock. The magnetic slide has a problem. The magnet is not very strong, unlike other lids I have. It snaps into place which if you have eyes over 40 you may not notice right away. When these ship, usually from the store, the slider will come off and be lose in the box which you might throw out before you realize it's gone. I ordered 3 and one was missing the slider, one the slider was lose in the box and the other was on the lid. The slide is different so you can use one from another lid style. I will order these again realizing it's a crap shoot on the slide being missing or not. I like them that much. Walmart please stock the lid! Make it a two pack as well.

It keeps my coffee warm and looks like my “higher end” coffee cups. It also looks just like the picture with a cute cork bottom. Definitely would purchase again!

It keeps coffee or tea warm all morning, perfect for when your get distracted by the kiddos or when you get side tracked at work. The cork on the bottom is a nice little touch that makes this cup unique.
