I am 75 years old and have a tendency to forget the time when cooking. I have 3 of these timers, one in each room where I go to wait for the food. they work great!!!

This timer is probably the largest digital kitchen timer I've ever bought.  It replaces a tiny, pocket sized timer I bought earlier this year whose battery ran out.

This one is better.  For one thing, it uses a AAA battery instead of those hard to match coin batteries (like the tiny, cheap one had).  The display is large enough you can read it from at least 3 feet away.  The chime is loud and hard to ignore -- again, another positive feature to it.  It has a big magnet on the back, a proper on/off switch, and a built-in stand if you want to put it on your countertop.

I really like it and definitely can suggest you buy one too.

Big, but very user friendly

good features. has an on/off switch and uses regular batteries. has a kick-stand, magnet back and even comes with a detachable lanyard if you wish to wear it. fairly loud beeping. Very simple to use - time can be set up to 99 mins. Is a MINUTE timer. With the on/off switch, am hoping this will last longtime.

nice big size - hope it lasts

It works as advertised.  The magnet on back is barely strong enough to hold it up on my fridge and it slides down when door is shut.    I replaced the magnet and it works great.   The last one I bought had the same issue but has lasted over 5 years on fridge.

Good timer weak magnet.

Nice little timer! Big numbers display. The only problem i had is the magnet fell off the back when I tried to hang it. Just reglued it and it's fine! Nice and loud alarm but not obnoxious.

Worth the time!

I like that the display is bigger than most and it is loud enough to hear from the next room. It also has an on/off switch on the back so it will have a longer battery life.
There are some issues with this. I specifically wanted one with a magnet to hang it in my daughter's room to help with virtual classes. The magnet ic very week and had trouble holding the timer on a metal plate on the wall. It kept sliding down so we had to lay it in the desk. Also, by day 3, the magnet fell off the back of the timer!
For functionality it works but if the magnet is important to you, get a different one!

Works but magnet is weak

I had just unpacked the timer. It had been hanging on my stove with the magnet for about 2 hours. I heard a crash coming from my kitchen. I found the timer lying on the floor and the magnet piece still on the stove.  The timer and magnet had separated from each other!! Pretty junky!!

Timer cheaply made

Unless you read the instructions, you'll think it's dead. AND be prepared for them (I have 2) to fall off of their magnets in 30 seconds or less when you stick them on the frig (I fixed mine with my crafty hot glue gun). They work great and are easy to read.

we liked this brand the best of those we ordered in past 2 years but we bought in april and it died in june or july. afaraid to try againd. return window closed in july.

Timer died in several months- looks just like pic

In countdown mode, usually turned off rather than counting when the start button was pressed.  After 3 days, died completely.  New battery did not help.  In trash.
