This is my favorite strong hold hairspray! It's alcohol free and doesn't dry out your scalp like other hairsprays. And your style won't move or fall flat! Love it.

Until 7 months ago I had never tried this product.  I had my hairspray that I had used for years and didn't think there was anything out there to compare.  Well, they discontinued my spray and I ended up finding this one.  I love it.  I was looking for something that would hold my hair in wind and this is it.  I read other reviews about  the "old" pantene but since I had never used it I have nothing to compare it to.  All I can say is I very much like this product and it does exactly what I want it to do.  As far as being able to control the spray, I have mastered that over the years and can get a can like this to spray anyway I need.  I do not just hit the button and hope for the best, I actually have very good control over what comes out and where it lands.

I wanted this hair spray because it has 0 alcohol - for use on my wigs.  The spray comes out in a bad way. It  sputters and has a small area of coverage, leaves globs of spray on the hair.  I know this is by design because I ordered a few and they all sprayed the same.

Not happy with spray coverage

This product changed drastically.  The spray distribution is horrible when applied to hair. Please bring this product back like it was. I will need to find another product.

Very Dissatisfied!

I miss the old formula. It had a great aerosol spray. This is clumpy and uneven. It promises that it won't leave you with a stiff hair feeling but that's exactly what it does. Please bring back the old volumizing formula!

Bad product after change

The spray nozzle spits the hairspray out in “clumps”. Also, formula not as strong as it used to be. Size/amount is less, as well.

Bring back the old, out with the new!!!

If I could give this negative stars, I would! This is the replacement for the old #5. It sprays like crap. I threw out a whole can and bought another hoping it was just a bad can. Second can ended up in the garbage right away too. It spits and sputters and ends up all over you, no nice mist. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Crap

Bring back the old level 5 this revamped version is absolutely horrible to put it lightly. Why do companies always do this and ruin a great product. Oh you did the research and this stuff is better. Ha Ha you mean cheaper for you to manufacture. Will never use another Pantene product again even if it's free. Dissatisfied in RI

Leaving Pantene

Can't stand the new stuff  can't get the level 5 and the aresol  is horrible  & the smell of the Pantene  finish stinks. And can't get a 11 Oz can @ any store in mn 
 Go back to the old can and spray.  This new stuff does not hold my baby fine hair In place

Hairspray pro-v level 5

First they stopped making the extra hold Pro-V gel I used & now they stopped making the spray!  I've relied on this brand for hair care for years & now I'm left scrambling to find a suitable replacement. It WONT be Pantene because they totally let their long-time customers down badly.  I'll shave my head before I buy another pantene product.

What happened to the Pantene I've used for 30yrs?
