Unfortunately this contributes to the dry brittle health of my locks but this product has been a life saver! I'm used to heat protectant sprays that are more of a squirt than mist so while I wasn't sure if it really covered my hair, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. I don't use styling tools often but I'm ALWAYS blow drying my hair. I found that it's better to use this when your hair's 80% wet than 40-30% wet. My hair felt really gross when I sprayed it on drier hair, but on wet-ish hair it ended up being really soft and silky!

It smells really good and is very lightweight (which is great for my long heavy hair). I don't usually use heated styling tools because my hair gets very damaged very easily, but I decided to give this product a shot. Though my hair is still somewhat smooth and hydrated, I can tell it's a bit dry and damaged from the heat. Maybe I'm using it wrong?? I don't know, but I'll continue experimenting with this product.

I did feel like it was a bit sticky if any of the product landed on the counter or anything else. I also really am not a fan of the smell; it's quite perfume-like and is pretty strong. Even after you blow dry your hair, it's still a bit strong. Not extremely bad, but I can still smell it. I don't think it was necessary to make it smell as strong as it does.
