The scratching pad and post was really easy to put together. The material is made of strong material. It took my cats a couple of days to start using it, but now they scratch on it every day and it is holding up great.

I like the flat part so they can just walk right up to it and start flexing their paws and the round part gives them a different angle if they're in the mood to try something different..lol. The little spring mounted toy is a riot. My cat hit it with his tail while walking away, and he sprang into the air like it attacked him! Too funny. It's very simple to put together and is really great quality. The plush material is a beautiful Charcoal gray, and the sisal rope is tight and secure. Nice looking and has a small footprint so it'll fit just about anywhere. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit. Easy to follow instructions. The sisal is very sturdy. 
A negative is that the two flat pieces fold in the middle making it a little wiggly. 
My cat is not showing interest in it yet after a few days. He just looks at it and walks away. I haven't attached the ball yet because he is skittish about those types of things. 
I'm hoping he warms up to it.

My cat is ignoring it

Two out of our three cats found it intriguing and fun (cat #3 doesn't "do" cat toys). I sprinkled the pad with a little catnip and game on! Our girl finally declared victory by laying on it.

Easy to assemble, good design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good sized Post and Pad, very sturdy and was easy to assemble. I put it on the floor for my cat to investigate. added a little catnip for encouragement and showed her how to use her paws to scracth on the post/pad. She wasn't interested! I wiggled the Play Ball Toy - it's on a spring and bounces back and forth - she watched it for a bit, then walked away. Maybe she will use it on her own when I'm away at work.

Cat Scratching Post

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats have their own porch on my home and I am always looking for items to keep them busy. This particular item sits on the floor and takes up a small space.

What I liked - 
It was easy to put together
Large enough for a 10 pound cat to sit on
Quality Sisal
Toy attachment
Takes up little space

With that being said, I will add, my adult cats did not care to interact with this product unless I doused it with catnip. Still then, it was not really a large enough item for them to fully enjoy, so they basically just laid on it and stretched.

I would recommend this product for KITTENS. I think it is the perfect size for them to scratch and play on. I'm sure they would love the toy attachment too.
