Just got it in the mail yesterday and already its butter than my last travel case. I went physical with my Switch and it fits one of my 24ct game cases and it have space for 6 additional games. I'd say 30 games is sufficient for the average gamer.

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've searched high and low for a case like this, so I thought it was cool when it showed up for free for my honest review. It's so convienent that they made a case with an integrated screen stand to prop up your Switch while you play and have it charge at the same time.
   The Switch was in the case, got stepped on and nothing was affected.  I'm loving this!
It also holds six games,  the charger, both joycons and the screen itself. If you own a switch, this is a must have!!

Case that allows you to play while charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty happy with this case for our Switch. It offers good protection for the Switch at a reasonable price. I like that the Switch is able to be strapped into the case but is still playable and able to charge. When you take the joy-cons off the device they store perfectly in the case. Zippers work great and haven't had any issues with them getting stuck. One area for improvement but not a deal breaker by any means - wish the insert at the bottom was attached better. Appears to be held down with glue and ours was separating in spots. I pressed it down and seemed to reattach ok but would be better if it were sewn in. All in all, a decent case. Wouldn't hesitate to buy!

Good case for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The play and charge case is the perfect case for you Switch. The outer shell is firm and the inside is made with a soft material that will not scratch your screen. The case is firm and will protect your switch, especially if you keep it in a backpack with all of your other items. The case is also a stand for your switch if you want to play on the go alone or with friends. This is the feature that makes it stand out from other cheap cases. There is also space for your charger and additional joy-con controller. I would definitely recommend this item, especially if you want to keep your Switch in great condition!

Elite Case!

I bought this for my son's switch when we travel, and it works quite nicely.  My absolute criteria were 1) hard shell, 2) must also store the charger, and 3) must protect the screen.  The hard shell is sturdy and is more than enough to protect the system in packed in a suit case or backpack.  The charger compartment has enough space for the joycon wrist strap attachment, too.  The screen is facing away from the charger and joycons (so many have the screen pressing against them, which concerned me.  But this one is better designed).  The case stand actually works really well, particularly in my home office so he can play while I work.  These days, where a lot of us are working from home more often, this case has come in handy so that my son can still play next to me without worrying about the built-in switch kickstand falling over if the table gets kicked or jostled by mistake.

The upper shell of the case is kind of the sore point for me.  On the positive side, the upper compartment will be mostly empty when the switch, charger, and joy cons are stored and the case zipped shut.  In fact, there is enough space to store two switch game cases if you want.  The reason I only gave this four stars is because this upper shell is a missed opportunity for more game storage.  There are elastic bands for storing up to six game cards under the screen flap.  That's not very many compared to their other cases.  There is so much untapped potential in the upper lid for even more game cards.  Both my son and I play, so I have my games and he has his.  Maybe another rigid cloth lined flap sewn in that could store cards both on the upper shell and the top of the flap, would have not only made this the ultimate case for working parents with gamer kids, but also would have added another layer of protection for the screen (a flat and rigid cloth lined flap resting over it to distribute pressure in the, unlikely, event the outer shell fails).  I will be buying a homebrew switch game case mod that will add card storage space to the game cases and then storing those in the case for travel for up to 20 more games.  But it would have been ideal if that game storage capacity were built-in, even if it upped the price a little more.  So I'm mixed on this.  I appreciate the extra space in the upper shell for more accessories/games, but I feel it could have been better utilized.

That said, this is definitely a good case for protecting your investment.  I highly recommend it.  PDP is well known for making quality game storage products.  I've used their cases for my Vita and 3DS (with console chargers), and they are still looking great 10+ years later after dozens and dozens of travel trips in my flight carry-on.  There was no question I would buy a PDP case for the Switch, as well.  But each of those older cases held far more game cards than this one.

Great Case, But Could Use More Game Storage

Good item but put together poorly... The  item was delivered quickly and seem to be good quality Materials and a very useful However the glue was coming undone on the inside of the case. It May be a isolated manufactures defect or maybe not

Over 1/2 inch in materials it only works for the base model switch.

I am guessing they could clarify what switch it works for on the package but don't, due to covid no returns so can't even get a different anything.

Kinda just a huge waste of money that wont serve it's function of letting me play and charge. or even just carry around my charger.
