Our 2011 Samsung TV finally went kaput. I wanted a replacement and didn't want to buy a high end tv. I needed QLED because the tv is in a bright room.  After some research I came upon this 55” TV from Phillips.  I am pleasantly surprised at the picture quality, ease of setup, multi hdmi ports, 120hz up scaling, loads of setting options, incredible sound.

I like my 65 " tv very much, a very good picture and I recomend this to all that cannot afford very expensive tv's.

Great picture

Obviously has a pretty good picture the blacks are a little bit Gray uniform edge lighting which is good no blooming pretty good sound quality the software itself is a little bit laggy but for 298 the thing that sucks is the Roku ads and the fact that the mini AV port on the TV does not work I cannot hook my VCR up directly without using a quality killing HDMI converter Philips customer service was completely useless trying to tell me the TV has the three inputs directly in the back no  it does not I said I tried using the breakout adapter Philips to plug my VCR into it no signal try to PS2 no signal and sometimes would get a signal that look like a scrambled video channel with static audio there's obviously a problem with the port but they kept trying to stay on script and then trying to find alternative ways to hook my VCR up and I'm like I already know alternative ways I just want to hook it up directly and not have to use a cumbersome converter that needs to be plugged in for power etc so I think I'm going to be returning this TV and it's not really a Philips anyways it's made by sky worth....

It's okay with limitations but one defect
