I have used this for over 50 years-sense 1967 and it does the job better than any rivals products. I first used it in a 1955 Chevy, and it protected that love of my life and from there on it never left my cars, or trucks of vans. What is the cost? My answer is -to you what is the cost of your engine it is designed to save? Only care about your vehicles and be wise and stay happy. New cracked engine blocks repairs start around $6,000.00 and antifreeze is under $15.00. Good luck-this is your best choice -I am 77 and been buying it for 59 years.

Prestone is a great name in auto coolant.   Concentrate costs half of premixed and all you need to do is have an extra container and add water.  ALL Prestone antifreeze/coolants cost a lot less at Walmart compared to local car parts stores.

Great Product, Great Low Price

Prestone has a great reputation.  I would get the CONCENTRATE unless you want to pay $6 or $7 more for the WATER added to the convenient READY-TO-USE stuff...    But then, I'm a CHEAP SOB - YOUR CHOICE!

Prestone's has been around for all of my adult life, it's a great company.  I can still remember the early days commercial, where a guy pokes holes all over a radiator and the anti-freeze would seal off the freshly made hole while the engine was running and under pressure.  Those additives have long since gone for whatever reason. Great commercial though!

Been using for a long time, change every 3 years or 30,000 miles, 191,700 miles and no problems.

Prestone is the leading brand of anti-freeze and was what was recommended for my for echo. I was very happy with it's ease of use and performance in rare 5 and 6 degree nights in Alabama. But I know for a fact I used to use it in Connecticut with the same great results.

It will not protect at the indicated temperatures. Mixed 50/50 in a plastic bottle and put in a special freezer I have (reaches down to 5 deg F), and the mix started solidifying.
