Value For Money

When our 1 year old rv surge protector stopped working suddenly, we researched several brands.  We found that the  Progressive Industries surge protectors are equal to or better than the other name brands and had one thing the other companies did not...They're made in the USA.  For us, this is and quality are very important.

This is a great additional to any RV. The best part is your investment is doubly secure as the warranty is not the standard 90 day.  It's a Lifetime warranty! Came very highly recommended by other RVers! Easy to assemble and install.

Great surge for RVs

it is very easy to use and hook up to the RV outlet,  INSTANTLY you find out if there is any trouble on the line.  Then I can plug in my RV with the confidence that my equipment is safe from damage.  It is pretty enclosed from the elements too.  Very inexpensive compared to other surge protectors on the market.

Great Value

Haven't used it at a campground yet but we are in the process of testing it out at home.  Have the RV plugged into the device and all appears to be working well!  Would gladly recommend it to RV'ers looking to provide some protection to their investment.

Not the cheapest,  high quality company

Bought end of June 2021 to use for our tab 400 camper.  Working fine so far. Let's us know if there is a problem with the camp ground electric before we plug into our camper.  So far, no warnings, and works good.

I rated this item a 4 Star because I have not had a chance to use it as yet.  It will rate 5 stars if it performs as advertised.  I purchased it because I did not have such a unit for my motor home and did not want to continue risking damage to my coach without testing and monitoring the electrical power supplied to it from external sources.  The only assembly required was the plastic protective cover.  It appears to be very well built.

RV POWER PROTECTOR

This device failed in one of its primary functions: detecting an open ground. 
It and my cord got so overheated that there was melting around the prongs. And my RV had “hot skin”. A ridiculous and dangerous malfunction!
