Since I discovered this product a couple years ago I have not been able to find a lip balm that heals and protects as well.  This an amazing product.  I have chronic dry lip problems, especially in the winter and this coconut lip balm heals them quickly when I have a problem.  Customer for life.

Best on the market

I love the shape of the tube! It's much better than your standard round. The product is fully solidified and goes on ultra smooth. Your lips are so soft after putting this on and it feels like silky butter!

I agree that it's sickly sweet, and the scent is overpowering like the coconut tanning oil from Hawaiian Tropic. Being on your lips, that's not what I wanted. Ideally I like flavorless or just real coco butter and shea. This is a waste of money. And it isn't thick or very hydrating anyway. They sold the coco butter flavor next to this one. I've tried it in the past, I couldn't remember if I liked it, so I tried the coconut. Not good. Too strong and unpleasant to use.

Overpowering

The fourth bullet point in the description says, "Free of Parabens, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Dyes", but the first ingredient on the back of the packaging is literally "Mineral Oil" -- see photos.

Falsely claims to be free of mineral oils

Very sad to see that there is no longer an spf in this lip balm. I used to get cold sores all the time and then found this lip balm. It worked so well that I didnt have a single cold sore in over 10 years. 

Now I have been getting them again. I wondered what had changed. Then I noticed that the reviews on here about the ingredients change and no longer having an spf. What a disappointment! Such a stupid move by your company to remove spf when the world is finally learning ths need for using it.

No SFP anymore!

I was wondering what was the difference between the two caps then I read the reviews and looked at the ingredients. The formula change is a real disappointment. The old formula was my favorite lip balm that I bought in bulk. I will never purchase this again.

Horrible

I loved the old recipe. The new one is awful, it's like any other cheap horrid lip balm that doesn't work and sits on your lips. So disappointed! I have now run out of the old type as I usually have them in my car, bedside table and one for my pocket. Now I'm looking for a replacement as these new ones are awful. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!

Hate this new recipe!

This product left me with a rash all over my face. I used it before I went to bed and my lips AND face are covered in itchy, burning, and tingly hives. The spf used is oxybenzone. Oxybenzone as an “8″ or “high hazard” according to several health website that palmers won't let me mention in this review. This chemical gets into the skin, gets into the bloodstream. It can trigger allergic reactions and health harms including health conditions they won't let me mention. Do not use this product. I've seen too many people complain about this product and even other lip balms by planners. They need to recall this item and all other items like it.  Planets is trying to say I'm using profanity language to prevent me from posting this review.
