Good product. I like that I can buy a big bottle and just forget about it fir awhile til I need more. It cleans well.

Great purchase and price

Dish washing agent

Seriously, a product Ive used since a kid has been destroyed by bad decisions at a greedy company. You used to be able to count on Palmoline dish soap and noticed a big difference when you purchased a different brand. Now it's just worthless watered down green liquid. Did you think we wouldn't notice?!?! Too bad.

Is what it is and it's lousy

Palmolive

Long time user. I recently bought a new large jug. My old one was from last year. I'm ready to pour ALL 4.27L down the drain! The smell is nauseating at best. I mean eye watering bad. The “soap” is more like water than and my hands started cracking shortly after use. I refuse to put this on my local FB free page and at the store tomorrow I will be reluctantly purchasing something entirely different. Such a shame.

Giving 1 star because I can't give ZERO

As everything around keeps failing consumers with less product and a higher price, I was appalled to see that now even my favourite dish soap has fallen victim to greed. Pure and simple, the powers that be have decided to compromise on quality for their bottom dollar.
I will NEVER purchase this product again, or recommend it to anyone. I just wish there was a “consumer police advocacy group” to complain to about this, in order to put their denial of what they have done to “change their formula” exactly where it belongs - a total fraud in favour of their own greed.

Long-time Customer No More

I remember 30 years ago when I was a kid and what the kitchen smelt like when my mother washed the dishes with her favourite dish soap, Palmolive. I had that nostalgic feeling every so often when walking by Palmolive in the store and usually buy a bottle. I recently bought a bottle and discovered it is thin as heck and has no special Palmolive smell. The 1 thing which regularly brought me back to buying Palmolive is gone. When you talk to family and friends and mention that "Palmolive smell", everyone knows what you mean. Just what the heck guys - brutal move to ruin the reason to buy your product.

They changed the scent and is super thin

I'd meant to google why in the past year or so, Palmolive dish soap is so thin & watered down. I finally googled it and found everyone else saying the same thing. YES, they've cheapened the formula. I grew up with this product & loved it but have to use 5x the amount to make proper suds and even then it won't cut through grease.
If manufacturer would just charge a little bit more to keep a quality product. They'd keep more customers. I'm here reading reviews and seeing the reply by Paul Malo is all a bunch of nonsense because they're not owning up to the fact that they've changed the formula. They don't want admit what they've done, instead suggesting the customer contact the store from which they bought the product. Shame on Palmolive! I can't & wont ever buy your soap again. Dawn just gained my money

Not the soap we remember

I always used Palmolive dish liquid and liked how it was very concentrated and cleaned well. The essential version is pure Garbage.!!You have to use alot to clean a little

Terrible product

Colgate Rep

This is the watered down version of regular Palmolive. It looks like a good deal but you have to use much more of it to be effective. I could buy the regular version and add my own water.

Watered Down Version

Palmolive Essential Clean Liquid Dish Soap, Original Scent - 4.27 L front-facing clear plastic bottle of green liquid with a flip-top cap, labeled Palmolive Original with marketing text per product specs referencing 'tough on grease'; shown on a neutral kitchen countertop, suitable for everyday dishwashing and grease-cutting and often used to pre-treat cookware.
