I will be buying a new tv, a Panasonic of course to go with my new dvd player. My grandson is going to hang it and do the set up on both of them plus the Direct tv. It's better than Christmas.

I am finding that there is less and less that i like to watch on cable and satellite TV, as I am not watching as many sports as I used to and I don't like a lot of the newer shows.  Therefore, about 5-6 years ago, I started buying as many older sitcoms on DVDs as I can, which is my preference of shows to watch and started watching them every day.

Since I started playing my old Panasonic DVD player every day for the past 5-6 years and it finally bit the dust last year, I thought I would get another Panasonic, since my old one lasted about 15 years.  I bought this model to see how I would like it.  I have had this model for about a year, play it literally every day and I LOVE IT!  

It was easy to hook up and it seems to have all the features that I wanted in a DVD player, so I am very pleased with it.  The picture, sound, performance, quality and features are fantastic for the money.  

I bought a new car last year, so I put all my music on USB drives.  I had to switch the files from CD to MP3 files in order to put them on to a USB drive, so I could play them in my new car.   Then I realized that I had a USB port on the DVD player, so I tried playing the USB drive with the music on it, through my TV.  It took a little bit to figure it out, but I love being able to use this feature, when laying down.  

My Mom had an old DVD player, which was about to bite the dust too, so I bought this DVD player for her and made her some USB drives with her music them, so she can lay down and listen to music while she relaxes.  She loves it, as you can play the music on the USB drive n random order.

I have now bought this DVD player, which is my third one of this model for our spare bedroom, as I love it so much and do want to have a spare, if ever needed.  I have owned about 15 DVD players in my life and I think this is the best one that I have ever owned.

Best DVD player that I have ever owned

It arrived today and we are very pleased. Connected it right away and tried it out. It worked perfectly. Surprisingly easy to connect and operate. Everything went perfectly. Later in the day we watched a full length movie and several behind the scenes extras. Every part of the operation was flawless, very straight forward and most importantly very easy to use. We used our own HDMI cable that stays attached to our TV. Overall everything was superb Panasonic quality and we had a wonderful first impression day with our new DVD player. Our thanks to Panasonic and Walmart for wonderful quality, great and fast delivery, and great price. Also big thanks to all the folks who left very informative reviews. We have always been fans of Panasonic, but it was reading the reviews that helped us decide on paying a little extra for the Panasonic over some other great brand name DVD players. Very happy and yes, we would recommend it highly.

Top quality, easy to use, flawless operation.

Easy set up. Needed to format to size of TV screen. Not 100% but good enough. The remote battery cover was near impossible to open. It is already cracking. Will probably need to tape together next time I open it. Dvd player serves its purpose.

Reasonably good for budget price

Giving Panasonic another opportunity! Panasonic use to have impeccable quality, however the last 2 units I purchased 2023, did not last for 6-months. I never received any correspondence from Panasonic. My recommendation is still not official-have not had long enough to say yes or no

This is a great, affordable DVD player for my bedroom.  However, there are way too many buttons on the remote and they're  “extremely “ tiny.   I can't find the correct function key without a bright light.  If I were to purchase another player, I'd first check out the remote control.

Panasonic DVD Player

Older model of Panasonic blu-ray machine.  It was not compatible with my TV and it lacks necessary features.  Should have bought a newer model.  You will get what you pay for. Not recommended.

The DVD player froze about 5 times while watching a brand new disc (no scratches on the disc).  Not sure why.. it had plenty of airflow and never got warm to the touch, yet continued to freeze and needed to be unplugged and plugged back in to work again.

I ordered this DVD player to replace an old one that I still have and couldn't wait to receive it. It arrived in an Amazon package. I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened the package. This DVD player was a return from someone else! See the photo! Why would they ship a returned item? That's not acceptable, Walmart! I returned it!
