Indoor Use Warning for Gas-Fueled Appliances

I've had this microwave for about three weeks and so far it works very well. It is much faster than the old microwave I had before and thankfully the instructions mentioned this might be the case. The only thing I do not like is that the instructions mentioned how much space was needed around the microwave for it to function properly. I wish I had known this beforehand, but you only get to know that after you buy the product. As it happens, this is not a problem, but might have been. So if you want to buy this microwave, find out in advance if the space allotted for it will be sufficient.

Good microwave

I bought this to replace a Panasonic microwave that was still functioning but looking kinda tired. This new one has all the great features I've come to expect plus sleek styling and a working light inside. Very pleased and hope it will last as long as our old one, i.e. 15 years.

My latest Panasonic is the best yet!

I bought this at Boxing Day sale. to avoid the line up in store, at least I imagined there was going to be a line up, I ordered this on-line for the same price with NO shipping charge! The item arrived in 3 days after placing the order, fast shipping!
I bought this to replace the older (at least 12 years) Panasonic over the cooker model with exhaust fan built in, that unit was big and loud and the clock display is fading, but still working. We had an exhaust fan installed couple of years ago, so a counter top model will suite us fine.
This new unit is quieter and has a bigger glass rotating plate than the old unit, can fit bigger item to cook/reheat.
We use microwave mostly for reheating or cooking frozen pre-cooked meals, so this model serves us well so far after 3 weeks of use.

Great product @ great price

I did a lot of research on microwave ovens and this was the best price I found with all the features it has. It cooks much faster than my old oven, looks great and the size is perfect for under my counter. I'm very happy with this purchase and walmart has the best prices!

Excellent Oven

I bought this microwave oven a month back n have been quite satisfied with the product. It works perfectly n is quite easy to handle. The problem has been only the major delay in delivery of d product. It was delivered a week later than d advised delivery. Had to chase UPS for d same.

Really Nice oven at great price!

Its a really nice size, perfect, as had a smaller one and now I can cook larger meals. It does what it is suppose too. I find it very simple to use and not complicated at all. Nice looking machine. Would recommend it except that it is very loud when working.

Is it suppose to be this loud

The product seems kind of flimsy compared to previous Panasonic microwaves we have purchased. With the Auto Cook (1-9) feature, you now have to enter the weight of the food; another step. This is hard when you're cooking rice/veggies/potatoes, etc. The previous versions, you just had to hit Auto Cook (6) for rice and start. So much easier and faster. It's ok. The "open" button broke on our last one and this one seems flimsy too. Time will tell. It works but I'm not thrilled.

no perfect

My unit came with a broken glass tray, Panasonic farms out their support to a very poor english speaking company, they accused me of breaking it and refused to give me replacement (I called the day I bought it) lol. I live 50 kms from the WalMart where I purchased it so instead of returning it I would have preferred the part shipped to me. Im sure WalMart would have exchanged it but I ended up using the tray from my old unit in this one. About 9 months in one of the door hinges began to sag making the door dificult to close... that wasnt covered either. The microwave is awesome and cooks food really well. Just dont expect any service if you have an issue.

Great microwave, terrible vendor customer service

This is the third unit(same model) we have bought in the past 2 years. First it was the timer on the fritz. The second machine kept stalling. And now today the third machine has decided that the door mechanism is kaput. The lock just blew out. The answers from Panasonic over in Mississauga when being asked about the product was "What do you expect and there is nothing we can do." Nice to know that someone who has kept the faith for a long time is treated in this manner. I shall not be purchasing any further Panasonic goods.
