I love my new cordless steam iron. It's conveniently positioned by my sewing machine. It has a cord that's long enough and draws itself into iron when unplugged. The sole plate is smooth with lots of steam ports. One blast of steam works. I especially like the point on both ends. I love it, received as a gift but would definitely buy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The no cord. I can't stand for long periods and this allows me to sit down and iron my blocks with ease.  I was still using my 25yo corded iron that still works just fine. This iron holds more water so less stopping to fill it up.  It's pointed at both ends so I can iron in both directions when quilting.

No cord.  Easy to use.

I've always hated dealing with the cord when ironing, since its job seems to be to, well, prevent ironing completely.  That said, I didn't consider purchasing a cordless iron until recently, when I started quilting again and remembered how much ironing is involved.  I'm so glad I did!  This is the best tool I can imagine for any kind of fabric creativity.   It never gets too hot in the cradle, and holds its heat plenty long enough for any seam.  With the built-in tap water decalcifier, the detachable water tank is easy to fill at the sink and holds enough for tons of steam.  It only took a short time to get in the habit of recradling the iron, especially since its double-ended plate prevents setting it down like my old irons.  The cradle is designed so well that the iron slides automatically into the dock for heating.  I can't think of anything i would design differently.   Buy it.

Best iron ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its great not having to mind the cord all the time. It does glide easily also. it is pointed at the top and bottom of the iron both. this can be a pro and also a con. The con is it doesn't stand up on its own it needs to be returned to the base all the time both for charging and resting. it does a good job just not as well as my corded iron.

Good for light ironing

Waiting while it heats up. I have only used this iron once but think it will be satisfactory for my ironing needs.  I like its light weight and that I can use distilled water in it.

It does not iron at all, doesn't get wrinkles out, and is only hot for a moment after picking it up to use. Then you have to let it sit for a while before picking up again.
