this contraption cooks rice!

Got it about a month ago. It cooks white rice and brown rice nicely (I haven't try other things) and it is easy to clean. The low profile modern design and good price were the main reasons I bought it. I recommend getting it, especially if it is on sale.

Good value and modern looking

When I saw the price of this rice cooker, I honestly thought walmart had made a mistake or something cuz I could not believe how cheap it was. Asian microcomputer rice cookers can be really expensive and bulky and I was always hesitant to spend that much money on a rice cooker. When I saw this, I didn't have to think twice about buying this. AMAZING DEAL FOR WHAT YOU ARE GETTING! Rice comes out perfect every time! and it looks so cute on the counter. very compact and sleek!

Amazing

Had another panasonic rick cooker for years, bought a couple of these on rollback for parents and auntie - very satisfied so far. Rice are nice as expected and we make congee with it as well!

Nice little rice cooker

We ordered this rice cooker on line from Walmart and it was delivered promptly to our door in 3 days. We are very satisfied with the performance of this product: it has very simple commands and produces nice cooked rice without any overcooked crust at the bottom of the pan. The only negative comment is that the hinged cover can not be removed for cleaning; however, it is quite easy to just wipe clean with a paper towel.

Panasonic SRDF101 Electric Rice Cooker.

I cook the rice in the morning and set it keep warm for the whole day, rice are well keep and moist in the evening. One of the not-so-good thing is, the water from the steam on the lid easily drop back to the rice when I open the lid, but it's not a big thing. Good rice cooker!

Makes perfect rice, but the keep warm function only seems to last a few hours before the rice starts to dry out. I've used much cheaper cookers that could keep warm over night. I purchased this because it doesn't beep when done cooking, and the images on the buttons are a nice touch.

Keep Warm

I'm still trying to figure out this rice cooker. Half the rice comes out perfect while the other half is cooked but wet %26 mushy.

Followed instruction for prep and cooking. hardly cooked the rice after 45 min. Tried again. Same result. Back it went. At least the return went well!

Doesn't work - returned it!
