[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoy many Eric Carle books, but the two titles made in this slide and see series format are by far our favorite. Panda Bear (and there's also a Brown Bear in this format) with the slide tones is such a fun way for wiggly toddlers to interact and stay engaged. Plus, the books are sturdy and well made so my wild kiddo isn't as easily inclined to rip anything out like traditional flaps. Definitely would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The slide and find was great. My 2YO loves opening and shutting every page. Brown Bear, Brown Bear is a classic title that they put in slide and find format. It's so great with accessible repeated language and colors. The vocabulary is higher and language isn't as flowy in Panda Bear, but exposure to all language is helpful. There are some uncommon animals so there's opportunity for deeper curiosity and learning. In all though, the language isn't as simple for young mouths.

Not as good as Brown Bear, Brown Bear

Animals are very unusual and song doesn't flow like Brown Bear book.  Animals are confusing to a toddler, that is use to the Brown Bear book.  Skip this book and stick with just the Brown Bear book.  Like all sequels, it isn't as good as the first.

Good but not as great as original - Brown Bear!
