I love these pens! The first time I tried them I was signing the bill at a restaurant and I said I like this pen and they gave me theirs. I've had a couple but the last time I found a great deal on 30 or 60 and I even told friends because that was such a great deal. The only thing I don't love about these pens is the lid tends to come off but that won't keep me from buying them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all the ink pen brands out on the market, the paper mate brand has always been my preferred go to for pens, even as a kid. I love the way a paper mate pen writes, especially these 1.0 mm medium point pens. The ink flows consistently and delivers nicely saturated and accurate lines. The 60ct box is the most sensible size for my family of five during school season, and it's pretty affordable. However, I am not sure how I feel about the thicker barrel design. It's new, stylish and has a long grip zone for comfortable writing. They also come in your typical blue, black and red. I personally prefer the black ink like these and they are some pretty great writing pens. I absolutely recommend Paper Mates write bros 60ct economy box.

I prefer Paper Mate, Write Bros pens in general. I don't like this new version as much as the old one. The ink doesn't last as long. The caps don't stay on the  back end as well when I'm shopping.

Ordered specific style, got something different!  We needed this specific pen for some projects.  Update your photo if you are sending something else.

Not what the photo showed.

The pens that I had ordered are not the same as the ones shown on the picture in the box. I wanted Paper Mate 1.0 m ball point pens with the original thin barrel style. They write really good and the pen is easy to maneuver around the page.  The new paper mate pens, I was disappointed with the new design. The barrel is wider, the grip is not very good and the ink color is not the same--its a lighter color and its just not a comfortable pen to hold in your hand. I wish they would go back to the other older style paper mate pens those are superb.

New paper mate pen design is disappointing

I ordered these specifically because the pens in the photo have been discontinued and I hoped to buy a lot of them as I can't find them anywhere else - they're my favourite pen of all time. Turns out they just haven't updated the photo, because I got the "new and improved" version of this pen which is exactly what I was trying to avoid buying. And I had to pay for the delivery on top of all of that. What a disappointment.

False photos

The pens shipped are not the classic style shown in the photo. I did not want a  "new improved" version that are just straight-rod cylinders like Bic pens. Grip  and diameter and shape matter when you have arthritis. I'm sure they write fine, but if you really want the slender, tapered stick pen style you're used to, these aren't it.
