[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Paper, mate, ink, joy, gel, pens, and the tropical vacation colors add fun and personality to your writing, journaling, notes, or projects. The colors are amazingly bright and very cheerful. The pins are very smooth and the ink dries quickly, which keeps it from smudging. These are a medium point pen so they don't give off fine lines.

Great, colorful pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used gel pens when I was a young girl—most of my journals and notepads were full of colorful and glittery doodles from gel pens, and I was obsessed. Sure, the pens were scratchy, skipped, and smeared everywhere (including the side of my own hand while I was writing), but I didn't expect anything better—I thought they were so creative and fun that I didn't mind. 

Fast forward many years later, I haven't used gel pens in 20 years (at least) for all of the reasons mentioned, not to mention having needed to switch to something more “grown up” when I went to university.

Then Influenster sent me these for free to review! And I could not be happier or more astonished by them! They are smooth, dry quickly, don't skip, and come in fun colors. There is a window to see the ink level along the side. There is a wide, non-slippery barrel to hold onto. It's almost like they made nostalgic gel pens…for grownups!!!

I want all of the colors. I love them so much!

I did encounter an issue they would like sometimes like get stuck and stop writing. But overall they are great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was disappointed with the Paper Mate Inkjoy gel.  When I first got the pen, it came with a little ball on the tip to remove before writing.  The problem began when I tried to remove the ball, but the whole tip came out.  The good news is that the gel did not get everywhere, and the tip did pop back in.  The bad news is that it didn't write properly after that.  I've been using Paper Mate products for a long time, so I wanted to love my new gel pen.  Unfortunately, I did not.
