The original lead that comes in the pencil last a long time. Other mechanical pencils seem to break and not last long. So far these have been my favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the PaperMate brand and these pencils lived up to my expectations. I am a big fan of mechanical pencils and I only use the 0.5mm lead. The pencils write smoothly and consistently. The colors are very fun as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was mainly first attracted to the colors of these items but then I tried the products. The pencils are pretty, cute, comfortable and works well. My only problem with them is the ink breaks too easy so I have to keep putting more ink in which is expensive and a waste of my time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the paper mate pm wb precise mp color pencils and it's cool. The colors are on the light side. Wish they were a little darker. It erases well and have nice colors. The lead doesn't break easy which is good.

These were a great option, my kids love the bright colors, and they're much more convenient than repeatedly dragging out the sharpener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils work like any other mechanical pencil.  My biggest issue was the lead kept breaking. It didn't matter if I wrote softly, hard, or regular speed/pressure it kept breaking. I was very disappointed with that.  I did like the darkness of the pencil and how nice it wrote.  They also came in nice colors.
