There's really no need for outdoor types to be uncomfortable or sleep on the damp ground when they have this Parachute Expedition Hammock as an option. This lightweight hammock weighs only 1.2 pounds and fits neatly into a free stuff sack, which means it won't weigh down a hiker's backpack or take up a lot of precious room in the trunk of the car. The Parachute Expedition Hammock is easy to put up and take down; just use the S-hooks that are included to attach to a tree, connect the tangle-resistant cords and get ready to relax. You can be resting in a matter of minutes. It has ideal portability, meaning you can set it up wherever you'd like. The Expedition hammock is made of 100 percent Nylon. It's 12 feet long and has a sleeping area of 10 feet in length and 6 feet wide. It is sturdy enough to hold 400 pounds, which makes it a great option for the single sleeper and perfect for a snuggling parent-child adventure – in the wilderness or the backyard! The durable quick-drying material is resistant to mildew and rot, the long-time enemies of camping equipment. This lightweight design comes in optional colors, which gives you the ability to blend in with the natural setting. Opt out of sleeping on the ground the next time you decide to go camping. This lightweight, easy-to-use product can help you have a good night's sleep and help add enjoyment to your next camping trip or expedition.

Offers good quality at an affordable cost.

These hammocks are fantastic. We take them to Maui every year and don't get out of them for two weeks. They are compact and take up so little room - perfect for light travel. The rest of the year they are hanging between trees during a hike or under a pergola somewhere. We even spotted others in these hammocks hanging under the pier in Daytona Beach

Great product Since there is still a lot of snow around here I've decided to try it in my basement. Simply perfect A lot of space for me I'm 6'3'' 280 pounds. Once folded in its little pocket it takes no place in my backpack. It's going to be a great add on to my gear for that nap by the river during salmon fishing this summer. Super happy customer.

Excellent product!

You guys had me with the email I received when my hammock was shipped. The little extra thought and effort was awesome. As for the hammock itself it is much more comfortable than I could've hoped and feels very durable. I have used it several times solo and doubled up and no complaints. It goes up quickly and is so easy to roll back into it's stuff sack. Best purchase I've made in a long time. This hammock is going to come with me on a lot of adventures. Thank you

Wonderful hammock and the best customer service!

I use hammocks camping and on motorbike trips etc. This is the smallest and lightest hammock I have ever owned and it holds 2 people. Bigger choice of colors or patterns camouflage etc. would be nice. The carry pouch makes for a nice drink holder/pocket once the hammock is setup.

Our house and backyard is also setup to click hammocks in all sorts of different rooms and places.

I do wish the

Good thing in a small package!!!

A compact parachute hammock in my car gives me the delightful opportunity of "hanging out" any time I want. With two 12 foot long sturdy climbing ropes I can instal recline and "zone out" in about two minutes. This is about "as good as it gets" towards enjoying the moment.

"Hanging Out" in the Zone

this is the first hammocks i buy i bought 3 it is to go camping whit the kids i was fed up whit the humidity and the back acke from tente camping and you have to clear a place for the tente this type of camping is disruptive to nature but hammock camping is a leave no trace kind of camping it is like bushcraft so this is what we are getting into this season we will start at the end of Mai

my first hammock

I purchased this hammock for my 17 year old son. He sails on Tall Ships and a hammock is his preferred bed. Quarters are tight and he says that it so much better to sleep on deck by stringing up his hammock. I purchased the straps too at his request so that it is easier to hang it up each night. He is going to put it to use next month for nightly use throughout the summer - I'll let you know how it goes in terms of repeated use after the summer. As the purchaser I was super happy with the cost website interface customer service and quick shipping. For this alone highly recommend Hammock Universe.

He's happy with his hammock

I bought this as a 15 year wedding anniversary gift for my wife. She LOVES hammocks and so this was the perfect gift. Set up was pretty simple I also bought the tree straps but there were no instructions. Granted it's not difficult to figure out but I wasn't sure if the way I had it set up was the best way. The tree straps for example do I have them on correctly? No instructions to confirm.

Very Pleased

Purchasing this product was fun. The emails from the company are amusing and it is a refreshing way to treat the customer. I received a hammock identical to this one a few years back. It is lightweight and portable so great for camping trips. My god daughter loved the hammock when she came to our cabin and now this purchase is for her wedding gift next Saturday.

Makes a great wedding gift

also experienced fast delivery which was great. I would have love to know that it did not include straps for going around trees and had to wait a week before I could get to use my hammock. Also a diagram instruction sheet would have been nice too but other than that I love it and it is very comfortable I will probably use it for camping instead of buying a tent

Great

doesn't fit my stand so am returning it but I do like the material
