Assembly

Very pleased with the look and function of this insert , fits well in our 30 inch fireplace, looks quite realistic, minimal heat, but we bought mainly for the look

Great value

Bought 2 weeks ago and it is amazing. The trim has done an excellent job. Look like a real fireplace without thinking about carbon monoxide or running out of log.

Fit perfectly

Even at 120V, this fireplace provides a good heating coverage. The flames look good too. We are satisfied.

Fireplace

We spent so much time looking for the right unit to fit our existing opening from a vintage 1940's fireplace. This fit perfect with minor adjustments and looks like a real fireplace. This was most important to us along with being safe to use. It's fairly quiet when the heater is running on those -40° days. It really completes the room and adds ambience.

Looks real!

Put this in an older existing fireplace. The roughy opening was large and it was difficult to find an insert that would fit and cover all the existing “sins”. Well this unit did a nice job with just a little shimming in the bottom. The fire and coal effects are ok, not fantastic, and the remote usage is a little crude ( using red leds and audible beeps to tell timer duration). I much preferred the on screen system used by other mfgs, but hey - none of them came close to fitting the space. Pretty happy with this unit overall.

Extra trim is a nice feature

It works well

Purchased this insert January 2017. A little noisy but worked well for 18 months until the reflector motor started making loud noises. This unit does not allow you to shut off the reflector motor to stop the noise. Tried contacting their customer service department, after several emails and phone calls finally talked to them. Was asked to take pictures of the motor that was causing the problem. After taking the unit apart (no instructions available) and taking pictures that I sent them, was told that they needed additional photos to make sure they send the correct part. As their warranty is only for one year, I was told that I would have to pay for the part and shipping......but they are still not sure if it is the correct part???  As I am not a certified electrician or trained on the assembly procedures for this product I have given up.......will have to purchase a new unit from another company.
