Love this yarn, it is of a similar weight and feel to Caron simply soft, but comes in a different array of colors. The yarn is very soft, didn't unravel or snag and provided just what I needed to complete my “moody rainbow” blanket

A great all purpose yarn

This Canadiana worsted-weight yarn from Paton's has a great soft feel, works up well, and doesn't split during crocheting.  I bought several colors, the color range is large and they are all very pretty.  I will buy this yarn again!

Love the Canadiana Yarn

This yarn is so wonderful to crochet with. Has a nice softness but holds its shape. Colors are clear and bright. Would recommend over other worsted acrylics .

Love how the yarn glides off my bamboo needles.  Everything I have made with this yarn thus far comes out beautifully, and I have gotten so many compliments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have knitted 15 afghans in the last two years, each with Paton's Canadiana. Each person who received the afghan as a gift remarked how soft it is and how warm and comfortable it is. In addition this yarn washes well without pilling and maintains its distinct color. 
I absolutely Love working with Canadiana. I have knitted 15 afghans in the last two years and given them as gifts. Everyone who has received one has remarked how soft the afghan is and how well it launders. 
I've been knitting since I was 4 1/2 and have knitted using various yarns over the years. And now, 74  years later, Paton's Canadiana is my absolute go-to yarn when knitting.

Canadiana-My Absolute Go-To yarn

This is my first time purchasing Patons Canadiana yarn which I chose particularly because of the weight and range of colors. The knitted afghan is for a gift in Soft Teal. It is knitting up very nicely and is soft and lightweight in feel. The sheen of the yarn shows off the knitted pattern beautifully. The only reason I did not give this yarn five (5) stars is that it can rarely split if you are not careful. I was using bamboo circular needles so this may or may not have been the issue but I would not be hesitant to purchase this yarn again as it looks gorgeous when knitted.

Lovely sheen and soft hand of a yarn

The yarn was a beautiful red color. I have ordered from this company before. The yarn decreased in thickness with this order. It split some with my long Christmas stocking pattern. Slightly disappointed because I still have their Really Green (which isn't available anymore), and there was a noticeable difference. My project still came out lovely though.

Nice, deep red

I purchased Pale Teal and Cherished Green to make a young child's striped sweater.  I was happy to get the accurate gauge when using the Cherished Green.  However, after I started knitting, I was NOT HAPPY to discover that the Pale Teal, while also being 4-ply,  is a much thinner yarn than the Cherished Green.  Aargh!  To compensate and try to acquire even gauging throughout the striping, I had to knit more tightly when using Cherished Green and more loosely when using the Pale Teal.

My advice:  do not purchase multiple colors for use within a single item.

Weights Are Not Equal Across Colors
