Pawhut

This tower was easy to put together and feels sturdy.  The problem I have with it is the smell.  Not sure if it's the carpet, rope or dyes but it's not a pleasant smell and I've sprayed it 3X already with Febreeze.  I almost hate leaving my kitten in the room with it!  I'm hoping it will go away with time, but it may wind up in the garage before that happens!  Has anyone else had this problem and if you did, did it go away or you get rid of it?   Recommendations welcome!

sturdy but the smell!

We were on a family vacation meeting this package when we arrived at our destination. It was a mold and insect filled mess when we got it out of the box. We had no time to return it to a store unfortunately. Walmart or whomever is storing this, needs to do a much better job with their quality control when sending items out to customers.
