Instructions

I am happy about how fast the Pawhut arrived. I'm waiting for spring before I can set it up outside.

I wasn't sure this product would be legit. It is! The top level isn't ideal for a chunky kitty but it works. I'm happy with it so far and came as promised. It won't let me upload my photo but the other reviews have them

Assembles well and exceeds expectations of quality

Simple effective Catio

I would give this 5 stars, however the instructions are terrible; it only gives diagrams to go by without any written instructions.  The diagrams aren't clear at all. I spent twice as much putting it together than it should have. I have a female in heat and 5 kittens and there's plenty of room for them to move and play.

This cat condo was brilliantly designed in my opinion.   Very solid and cat safe for the right cat or kittens.  It definitely required two of us to put it together as well as reviewing and re-reviewing the directions to make sure it was going together properly.  Admittedly, we did have to undo and flip pieces around now and then to make it right but once figured out, very happy with the condo.

Unfortunately my cat absolutely hated it.  My cat has been with me since he was 4 weeks and he's just over a year now.  He has never been caged and I think this may be where the problem lies.  By his behavior - howling horribly, climbing between the netting and the structure, hanging off the inside of the structure, hanging off the netting - you would think I was torturing him.  By the way - the netting is truly cat proof.  My cat is just under 15 lbs and hung briefly on the netting alone and there was no tearing or stretching of the netting.

I was very excited about the cat condo as Brody (my cat) is now wanting to go out on my back deck and I also foster kittens.  That's how I got Brody.  I thought it would be great for all of them to have a chance for some outside play time in seasonal weather and had thoughts of bringing it inside for the winter to keep foster kittens safe (and my house not destroyed) when I have to go out for a few hours.

But Brody hates it and this one is too big to get into my house.  If I had of had a Cat Condo when Brody was a kitten I'm pretty sure he would love it.

I would have rated this a 5 star as I think it is an excellent product however; that felt wrong considering I returned the cat condo.  BUT if your cat is already somewhat used to being caged or is a kitten, I would highly recommend.

Aosom custom service was awesome to deal with.  They made it easy to return my product. I did have to pay a charge to cover the FedEx return however; it was not an unreasonable charge to have them come pick it up as the unit is very heavy and it would have been very difficult for me to get it and out of my car for one of the other two options.

Awesome Cat Condo

Good cage except for the fact that the middle bar that holds the shelves, the bolt hole is only Half on the bar so you cant even use all 3 shelves in the cage. Also, the building instructions are pretty much just a Picture and some letters! Theres No details so I had to take things apart and switch them A Few Times. Make sure you put the right letters in the right place too because even if the bars are identical, the other bars wont connect if any are switched. Oh and I had to ziptie the bottom because it wouldnt stay so my cat could just push it open

Hard to put together, but nice

The directions weren't very clear so building it was a pain. At the end I had to make changes and take things apart and reassemble to make it work. When you put on the cover at the end - the cover doesn't attach to the frame so your cats could escape. I used zip ties and that seems to work. Make sure to buy zip ties or bungie cords - so you can correct this design flaw. The cats like it.

Flaws but decent - happy cats

Unfortunately, I am underwhelmed with this product. The bottom hooks for the mesh covering are not substantial enough to hold the covering in place which in turn creates gaps. Even with using zap straps to tie down the bottom in the same locations as the hooks wasn't substantial enough and my cat managed to get out. She is 7 years old and my no means a small cat.

Underwhelming

While I love this enclosure, the instructions are HORRIBLE and very unclear!! I am a fairly smart woman with a college education and it took me forever to understand these instructions. Then once I thought I had them figured out I would get 3 more steps in and have to go back and fix thing to continue.
