So, I use the spray initially. The spray liner with scratch off eventually, so I resprayed again and then applied the paint. That worked wonderfully.  Just hauled riff riff around and nary a scratch anywhere. Easy to apply and great for the money.

A lot of work to prep, but the results are worth it if you follow the instructions.  Goes farther than they say.  El Camino took about a half gallon for two good coats.  Less gloss would be nice, however.  Be prepared for the fumes.  Did the job for about $100 compared to the $500 local spray-bed-liner shop charges.
