"Pearl River Bridge" Superior Dark Soy Sauce is made in China. It looks thicker and darker in colour. It is perfect for cooking fried rice, fried noodles, stir-fry vegetables, and marinating all kinds of meat as well. It can be used to braise the meat (e.g. pork back ribs, chicken wings) along with the vegetables you like too. Just adding few drops to your food and cook. I was given recipes that required light and dark soy sauce but went ahead with recipe with only normal generic soy sauce. The meal was great but the second venture I used the products ordered from Walmart ... What a difference ! And they were delivered in 2 days !

I've been using this soya sauce for a while now. I use it on my meat, chowemin noodles, on my rice when I'm making fried rice. You dont need alot . Start off with a small amount and taste then add more if need be. Its salty, so remember not to use too much salt if u plan on using the sauce

It is dark and tastes ok

Some Soy Sauce has just the taste of Soy but some have the taste of a Brewed, fermented Soy, and perhaps I do not have refined enough Palate to appreciate it, but I prefer the taste of regular Soy sauce and not the kinds that taste like they are brewed with some semblance of alcohol or similar flavor. Dark Soy Sauces I have tasted from China are very good and do not have the fermented/brewed flavor. As such this Sauce tastes brewed and is not my favorite. I use China Lily Soya Sauce as the benchmark against which all other say sauces are judged, as I consider China Lily as the best Soy Sauce I have encountered. When I find one better then it will take the position, but this sauce is NOT even close to par with China Lily.

Below the Standards I have for Dark Soy Sauce.

This tasted like plastic. Bought it for a recipe last minute. Regretted putting it in, it did not taste good. The cap also smelled really bad, probably cheap plastic.

Don't buy this brand, there are better ones
