it's a good 12v ride on. it's also a good alternative to the now very expensive john Deere ground force one. this works just a well. it takes the same battery as the john deere one.  my little guy (now 3) loves it.  the slow 1st gear is good for little ones just starting out while the 2nd gear is even better once they get the hang of it. we have very uneven and hilly property, the standard 8aH battery lasts just over an hour house. they take forever to charge so make sure you get a second 
if you need to replace an old battery, any rechargeable sealed lead acid battery will work, you just have to remove the battery cover to get access to the battery itself.
overall, I would recommend. it's a good toy.

My Grandson loves his tractor (which came from Santa Claus). It is more sturdy than I had expected and moves up inclines and over grass with ease. I have horses and my Grandson has "helped me feed up" by hauling hay in the cart for me. I am not disappointed in my purchase and would tell anyone thinking about purchasing this item to do so.

Worth the money - excellent product.

This was a birthday present for my 2 year old. we live on a 17 acre farm and he loves riding the tractor with his daddy. I was a little worried at first when we ordered it thinking it might be too bid for a 2 year old, but it is perfect. It has a governor on it to keep it at the slow speed.  It turns really easily, it doesn't get stuck in the grass or gravel or holes in the yard. It is well built and is tough. I wouldn't waist your money on the less expensive power wheels. Having 2 speeds, reverse, and the ability to run on grass/field and gravel is worth the money. And a 2 years old, he is driving circles around all of us. This was a great purchase.

Worth every penny

My son just moved up from a six volt to a twelve volt ride on.. We had always heard good things about Peg Perego, and now that we own one we know why.
The chain drive is unbelievable. The tractor has so much power that when I my son takes off in the grass.. His front wheels pop off the ground a little.. He loves this and goes wild.. (Careful on the hills) it charges in roughly two hours but we charge over night and unplug the battery from the unit when we aren't using it actively.. This will preserve the battery life.. I absolutely am happy with our purchase and highly recommend it over other brands.. I definitely feel the difference in price is well worth it.

Wow!! So much power.. So fast.. Awesome!

He learned to steer it quickly and was happy loading gravel and oranges from parts of the backyard into the trailer.

The only design flaw does seem to be with the 'hood" that covers the battery. The "clip" that holds the hood in place at the chassis, is flimsy and already broke. Easy fix with a couple of screws. Also the other side of the hood near the 'firewall" where the hood closes. the plastic bracket that is attached to the firewall keeps poppong out. Super glue will likely remedy that. Later today.

All in all it is great. Great graphics it looks neat and it is big which is cool!

Fantastic My 3 year old grandson loved it!

I had one problem. when I received my package, it did not contain all the necessary parts to put it all together. Wheels for the trailer, battery charger were missing. Called Peg Perego - was VERY impressed with the kindness I was given and the quick shipment of the parts I was missing. I had them ordered Wednesday received them Friday....A company that was nice to deal with.

So far my grandson loves it!

If your kid loves tractors, they will love this. The only problem I have from the adult point of view, is the construction on some of the parts is a little bit cheap. My son (2 yr old) already broke off the latch allowing the hood to rotate up as well as the exhaust (which we were able to snap back on). Also, I felt like the tractor should have a button that makes some type of mowing noise or tractor noise. We also have a dodge police charger, and it has a loudspeaker, lights and sirens. This one doesn't have anything similar. However, my son is obsessed with tractors, so he loves this.

If your kid loves tractors

The instructions leave a lot to be desired. They seem to be a generic instructions not model specific. Not super high quality.  Some things don't line up and are warped.

Such junk though we would buy the case version since it was still made by peg pergo stuff broke on it day one. Kids only ride it on grass and there are holes in tires within a month. The hood cover broke day one in both of them, terrible design. Our John Deere version of the peg pergo lasted over 10 years. Don't buy spend the extra money on the John Deere

This tractor is total junk.  The whole thing fell apart within a couple months.  Tires completely worn out, the body fell apart, and now it won't even run.  Don't waste your it money on this junk.
