Quality of product is what is expected. Everything on the unit is plastic so you have to be careful with assembly. I was disappointed that some basic pieces weren't assembled together because they wouldn't have taken up any more additional space for shipping but it would've saved time in installation. 

I was impressed that nothing was broken and everything was included in the box. However when the box was delivered it was dented badly on the one end and looked as though it hadn't been handled with the utmost care. 

All in all pleased with the product. Took around 2 hours to install and about an hour to put all the camouflage stickers on. My 3 year old son took a couple rides to understand how to steer on low speed but not has picked it up no issues. We put the unit on for a charge overnight and haven't had any issues with the battery dying on us yet while using it throughout the day. Also love the seatbelt feature as well as my 10 month old daughter can be strapped in and go for a ride as well. Overall I would buy this product again.

Would buy again

With four kids it's hard to find a good durable toy to entertain them all but I found it in this gator. We already had a old green one so we got the camo but when my boys seen it they thought it looked cool without the camo just as black we may change our mind eventually. The battery lasts for a good long play session and then they let it charge and rest or do something else. We did buy a spare battery to charge while riding the other. My boys are really over the weight and to big but still manage to drive it just kills the battery sooner than my younger girls. It's easy to drive my 2 year old can drive it but hasn't got the steering down yet. This is a very durable awesome toy our green one still works great and we've had it for over 5 years we just got this one so all 4 kids can drive. Highly recommend this

This is our second Peg Perego to buy. I would recommend this brand over others due to the better battery life and it runs a little faster than other brands. Perfect for ages 3-5.

Our two year old loves this gator! The high speed actually goes decently fast and it's always the speed he prefers. If you live in the country and it's driven on gravel a lot the tires really get torn up but it's almost inevitable driving on gravel. It looses some traction on thick rock and goes slower in the grass but overall a great buy.

Toddler Approved

My 2 year old loves this gator. However, assembly takes a while as well as putting all of the stickers on. Also we couldnt get it to work when we first got it together because a cord underneath the back trunk was unplugged. So only one wheel was turning. After getting it apart and plugging it in it works great! Also drives great on gas, and I even think the 2nd gear is a little fast for a 2 year old but we keep it in 1st until he can figure it out better.

Do not pay the extra $50 for the camo one. The camo is just stickers and those stickers will just end up peeling off making the gator look beat up and cheap.

Straight out of the box and the battery won't charge. It is dead but says it is fully charged.

There is absolutely no traction for this toy. The wheels spin on dry pavement never mind on grass or trying to go up a small incline. Very disappointed in performance

The description says its for ages 3 to 8. My five year-olds knees are hitting the dash with the seat moved back as far as possible. Our seven year-old won fit in it at all. The description also says the product works on dirt, which is not true. It will violently rattle on dirt or gravel and will not drive up the slightest grade without the wheels losing traction.

Waste of money

This is a terrible product!  The battery does not last.  And the product is made very cheap!
